Bear in mind that pets with genders (including the "genderless" gender) do still need to have theirs displayed. Only the genuinely glitched pets are exempt. :)

There's a typo in there as well. You mean 'species', right? 'Specie' is a synonym of 'coins'.

I never knew glitched genders were a thing o.o How did/does such a thing occur?

[Edit] Nevermind, I've read the thread xD

So, up until this was updated, any genderless pets - glitched or otherwise - could not be in the spotlight cue? Hmm. That seems kind of... contradictory for the spotlight itself and like some pets should be grandfathered in as potential spotlights.

No, only glitched pets were excluded. The rule was the pet's gender has to be visible, and glitched pets have no gender symbol to display. Genderless pets that aren't glitched have a white circle symbol, so they were already eligible for the spotlight

it's been a few days and i'm still so pumped about this rule change! thank you all again, i'm so glad i was talked into making a ticket about this ❤

proper genderless pets with the circle symbol were always ok! this was specifically for broken pets with no symbol. (the rule said you needed to "properly display the gender" and i was like, "well this one... has no gender to display... can it go in the spotlight, or not?" so i did a ticket and here we are.)
