Oh my I can't believe there's no weather chat on the small talk board! Really, weather is endlessly fascinating. Is it cold or hot wherever you are? Is it clear or stormy? Have odd or unusual weather (snow in summer, mid-winter melting)? Which is better Celsius (yes) or that old incomprehensible Fahrenheit? Maybe you think we should use the Kelvin scale?

Locally its 10am and already 26 C, gonna be a hot one, thank god for A/C!

Oh, yeah. I have been in high heat warnings the last few weeks. But then again I live in a desert region, its to be expected. About the only times I venture out are early morning or early evening. During noon time I limit to checking my livestock ever few hours.

Personally I prefer Celsius but living on international borders has taught me to distinguish. Usually we have clear skies that make outdoor activities difficult, unless any storms approach. Then we might get flash flood warnings.

My current is 40ish C° and partly cloudy. Maybe I'll march out and make my runs. I say this often, I don't care for A/C.

I've always preferred the cold over heat. I just get so wiped out and can't sleep when its too hot. I get it about the A/C too, we don't run ours most of the time. On really hot days, late afternoon for an hour or so, and a bit right before bedtime, otherwise I can't fall asleep.

Anything over body temp is horrendous, fortunately we don't usually get that hot, no more than a few odd days here or there. And some summers, we never reach that high at all.

Other side of the world so it's cold and pouring with rain (10oC @ 10am) although we had a couple of nice 20oC days so the house is still 'ok' temp wise but with that said I had one morning last week when the solar hot water panels froze up??? It's Australia, that sort of thing just doesn't happen unless you live in the blue mountain area! The up coming week is mix of mid to high teens which again, for winter is unusual, yep no such thing as global warming!

It seems the storm watch is in effect, outside I can see clouds in stormy coloration. Time to take some rounds while it is cooler.

You wouldn't like it here much either, its almost 40°C again. Full solar fury and no clouds at this time. I wonder if anyone can remember whining about winter...

yep I would totally hate it! I very, very rarely whine about winter - maybe after 3 week cold snap of -30 C highs, I'll complain. But it takes a lot because I remember all too well being hot and uncomfortable well into winter.

But hey, complaining about the weather is a national pass time for a lot of people :D

Fortunately some clouds rolled in, being close to monsoon season. This could make my house sitting easier later.

As usual, clouds roll in every direction but rain fails to hall right where I am. At least the afternoons are pleasant for robots like me.

LOL I'm in Canada too, and I love winter. Its been stormy all day yesterday and today. And very warm, the air is very heavy, hot and humid. The kind of weather I hate the most! I could never be happy in a jungle and that's how it feels here right now.

The usual fury of the sun in midday hours is offset by cloudy and breezy early evenings around here. A few more more months and the cold could allow me to spend more time outside.

Too hot...July is always too hot. Sweat, sweat, sweat...I love my A/C, though it runs too cold and I usually wear my sweater, LOL.

For as long as other people are in my house the A/C is on. My room is simply isolated from that.

Oh, a batch of home made ice cream is a good remedy. Mine came out pretty well. Sweating is compounded when one runs out of clean clothes, and laundry day isn't until next week.

I could use a drink now...

Yesterday it was 41C in Belgium. Monday 30C and the days after we had 35C+ Today we expect it to be 35C the last day of the hell heatwave. We are expecting rain for the weekend and next days too YES finally!! We have no AC only fans ..so this week was hell.
