(Northeast US) The past weekend was soooo warm and nice! Today is cold but sunny. There is snow in the forecast for this coming weekend :( can't believe it as we are almost a week into May!

Nice desert summer, 100s across the five day forecast. Some relief comes in the afternoon in the form of cloud cover with some wind. Not much of a monsoon season as yet.
It's been raining steadily for the past few hours. Pros: this is cooling things down somewhat. Cons: humidity is approaching 100%.

Today was 96F, and with humidity felt like 106. Partly cloudy. Storm's a'comin'!
The endless heat has finally broken here--currently 12C (54F), predicted high of 18C (64F)... and raining.
Nice to look at, not so nice for my commitment to daily walks.

It's been a solid 33C here and it doesn't seem like there will be any break from that any time soon 😞
Oh, don't feel too jealous--what you just described summed up our entire summer where we were. Heck, just last week it was like that.
We're just slowly entering the fall season. Spring and fall, where I live, tends to be categorized by alternating summer and winter-like weather--no in-between, it seems.
Yeah, it can be like that here too some days. but it usually takes until about the winter months for that to happen. It could be snowing one day and then 26C the next.
I would love to have 26C days in winter. Once December rolls around, for us, the cold (really cold) weather is here to stay... at least until a very late spring.
The temperature around me has been pretty nice considering it's usually pretty hot but the humidity has been between 99-75% within the last week. It's really unpleasant after a while :(
