I've always loved Pokemon ever since I was little. My very first Pokemon was Charmander, but the first one I ever captured was a cute little Caterpie. Her name was 'Sweetpea' and since then, Caterpie had always been my favorite.

My other favorite was Clefable who I always just found super interesting and adorable, not to mention a total powerhouse! Since I've recently picked up Pokemon White 2 and been drawing clefables like mad, I've got to ask...

jigglypuff is without a doubt my top fav, but i also love snubble, nosepass, oddish, and clefairy. it's hard to pick favorites bc now i'm thinking of more and more that i love..

Haha, that's the exact problem I have! Jigglypuff is a great pokemon for sure... and I love the little dance Nosepass does when it enters battle!

I love them and I know the current internet lingo has a lot of self depreciating jokes about being garbage and being a dumpster fire, but can I honestly love them and think they're so so cute. They deserve so much love.

MY TEAM based purely on my love for them:

Garbodor + Litwick + Venusaur + Popplio + Claydol + Koffing Alolan Muk

I actually don't know after Popplio... Claydol is hilarious in the episode of the anime I saw it in and I've always loved Koffing and Weezing because as a kid I totally related to their names because of my asthma... but I feel like those two could probably be bumped for the next love at first sight poke I encounter... the first four are very solid tho. And not just them specifically but their whole evolutions I have much love for.

There are so many pokes I'm not familiar with though! Especially the newer ones. I am certain there are so many pokemon I just need to get to know and I'll fall in love with them. Also I love every lil'est evolution of any bug pokemon, they're all adorable blobs of cute and they deserve happiness.

100% my favorite pokemon of all time, I will always have one on my team (except in moon when I was not allowed... thankfully rectified in ultra moon)

But he is my third favorite who I loved more and more until he was my all time favorite.

I've used one in Omega Ruby and it was the first shiny I ever found and I wasn't searching for it at the time either.

I've had a lot of different teams over the years so I don't actually remember any of them. I think if I have a team of all dark types I would have:

I've never palyed any game beyond Pinball on the GBA. But I might generate a team on Let's go Eevee.

[Edit] Playing Sword has yielded a major advantage to widen my collection of favorites, Everstones are fairly easy to find. This facilitates keeping some basics and first stages intact without having to stop evolution manually. In Let's go Eevee I'm in a stagnant point, I'm uncertain about what comes after defeating the Indigo league, I've encountered the trainer Greene twice already. That's where I have left off the main game, and have since been wandering in search of the next step.

Even though my level of interest in Pokemon as a franchise goes up and down all the time I can't help loving these babies forever! Don't even care if they're good in battle or not, just love them.

Team Rocket's Meowth is my absolute favorite Pokemon and one of my favorite characters of all time. He's the whole reason I started watching the show and playing the games to begin with way back when. He'll always be my "top cat"! Ironically, I'm actually more of a dog person and most of my other favorites are canine types. XD

I also really like Rockruff and Lycanroc! I need all the puppies. ;v;

my biggest fave is and has always been miltank! my other favorite pokemon, as of now: i don't know how good or feasible of a team they'd make, but i like them a lot :) i like a lot of dark and dragon types too but these are the ones i find the most interesting/fun/cute

My absolute favourite is Luxray!! My favourite starter is Squirtle, since it was my first ever starter. <3

one thing that i absolutely love about the pokemon series - every pokemon is somebody's favorite! reading this thread makes me so happy bc there are pokemon that i would never in a million years consider a favorite, but they're favorites of people who are posting passionately about them here and dhsfjd idk that just makes me happy.

if i had to pick a team of favorites... well.... that sounds impossible but i'm gonna try:

Picking a favorite is so hard! If I had to choose only one, I would go with Bulbasaur.

But, I also love Psyduck, Weepinbell, Oddish, Vulpix, Slakoth, Jumpluff, Caterpie, the whole friggin Mareep evolution line, Umbreon, Drifloon, and Sableye.

Caterpie is one of my favs too! I just couldn't resist the little cuties after playing the caterpie babysitting adventure in "Hey You Pikachu" as a kid <3
