This post is mostly just suggestions, all for things I'd love to see make it as an item someday! Like, in Hong Kong there are some really iconic foods, like pineapple buns (菠蘿包), HK-style french toast (西多士), and egg waffles (雞蛋仔), the last of which has become ubiquitous across the world :D. And Hong Kong is also known for its drinks! HK style milk tea (港式奶茶), and red bean ice (雪糕紅荳冰).

There are also some traditionally Chinese (or Cantonese, in this case) ingredients that I'd love to see onsite: salted duck eggs, mung beans, Chinese sausage, and century eggs!

Also like what is more iconic and exported out to restaurants around the world than dim sum; siu mai (燒賣), shrimp dumplings (蝦餃), tofu rolls (腐皮捲), all things I eat on a monthly if not weekly basis. (Or would dim sum be a suggestion for the teahouse, since dim sum is a staple of Chinese teahouses. Though I don't know if the subeta teahouse is gonna be more Japanese-inspired or Chinese-inspired asdfghjkl)

Meals like congee, and things that go with congee! Oil fried pastries (油炸粿), for example /o/.

Desserts like mango pudding (芒果布甸), tofu pudding (豆腐花), sesame balls (煎堆, kinda like goma dango (which is already onsite) but usually no red bean filling), ma lai gou (馬拉糕), baak tong gou (白糖糕). T^T All That Candied & Honeysuckle Sweet Stuff Aaa.[/font]

It would be good, and would most likely be another feature added to Shengui Guo, which does need more features. Since the shops there work differently, maybe it could involve you bringing one of the items you buy from that other food place on the floating market? Though there would probably still be SP to pay as an SP sink. Or it could be a non-restocking shop like Five Seven Five and Go Outside?

? would also love to see more korean food! pastes like gochujang, ssamjang, doenjang etc. seem like they'd fit really well into the food market or ujin's shengui guo stall.

i think the only korean foods i've seen onsite (and that i can remember off the top of my head) are these two:

I love seeing international cuisines on Subeta. The food trucks were the best part of Peka-Boo imo.

Maybe some of these suggestions can be incorporated into the Shengui Guo Tea House?

I support this Suggestion. Many of these would be fun and I like the teas mentioned at the bottom of the first post. The last of the jang looks a whole lot like miso, and hotteok like pupusa?

I knew some of these items, but most of them I had to look up. I think it might be helpful to staff and the artists if the suggesters could find links for these items.

As for the Tea House, it's been two years, so it's looking a lot like vaporware. I'm not holding my breath waiting for it, nor should we wait to see some of these yummy things. Stick 'em in Quick Bites and Food Shop.

aaa yes, right !! tea.,.,., T^T i swear like, so we have this line of baobao plushies from get mugged:

Ceylon, Darjeeling, Green Tea, Lapsang Souchong, Oolong, Pu-erh, Rooibos.,.,.. but with the single exception of Green Tea.,. we don't have any of those tea leaves on site T^T
