I'm compiling a list of the hardest challengers based on how many wins on the HST. The initial list was mostly compiled from taking what I thought were most likely the hardest challengers and then comparing the max number of wins anyone has gotten on them so far. Theoretically any impossible level challenger should have been included on this list. However, many of the cash shop impossibles have no incentive to fight them and they don't feel that difficult like Warlgthroth. With that in mind if anyone things some of the other impossible challengers should be on this list based on their max number of wins, feel free to call them out, and i'll try to knock them off the list or ill add them.
The List Paramesian Recycle Beast Lukien Bauenwrath Parkherash Mutant Scientist Final Meatslab Cinthilocks Mama Forj Paramesian Buttwing Bomber The Mage

Are you including event/seasonal challengers as well? I would say careapier is harder than most of those except for maybe Para RB, Baen meatslab, lukien and cinthilocks. Although I never fought T13 cinthilocks
I didn't include them more out of not thinking about it, and because I haven't fought most of them as a T13. But the bigger barrier to including them is that I can't test it. I'll add rouland this morostide if I don't beat him 50ish times. But at the same time I kinda thought that The Mage would rank higher up on the list, but hes currently broken. Prodigy might also be artifically low since he was broken when I bought him to 79 wins. I'm kinda hoping that I can work my way through at least one more win on him now that quarks are back.
The list is also currently inherintly flawed as well since most people don't battle much past 10 wins. Part of my hope was that someone might help to knock some of these easier challengers down a couple pegs. Lukien is hard maxed out at 21 wins for me, but someone like forj or meatslab is just annoying to keep fightning.

They were broken? Looking at my W/L record, I have the most losses on the friday the 13th version of careaper. 17 wins and 56 losses. Not all of those were done at T13 but there is a reason I only have 17 wins =x
Remove Cinthilocks and put that new Chronobitch in instead.

They've made an adjustment to Chronocrone. I don't think it should be at the top of the list anymore.
This list should change considerably when some of the para-challengers make an appearance.
This is a personal opinion, but I would say the top 10 hardest challengers in order of difficulty are:
1) chronocrone nerfed 2) para RB 3) Lukien 4) Baen 5) The mage 6) meatslab the furious 7) mutant scientist 8) cinthilocks 9) Prak 10) para butt
Reasons:
Cinthilocks is actually really easy for a high T12 pet to get 10 wins , as long as you don’t face her in T13
Both para butt and mama forj can be beat by T11 pets. With para butt though you need to unlock him with a T13 pet and at least one full blocker to be able to chain freeze him to death without risk of taking critical damage.
The mage I based on going past 10 wins to get more loot where meatslab and mutant scientist you don’t have to
Para rb I would argue is less difficult than chrono because although he hits harder and has a lot more health, he can be chain frozen and doesn’t have over heal.
@ THESOVEREIGN Chrono has been adjusted.
Reason: Time heal all wounds has been nerfed from 25 percent hp heal to 500hp heal.
ya.... seems like the might have hit that one too hard. now its like a t11 challenger...

Reischen seems a little tougher than The Mage. Are you going to include him somewhere in the list?
Para Buttwing and Reischen are comparable in overall wins but after 30 or so defeats Reischen is dealing a much wider range of icons. The crusty old dude's got some moves.
I would say reichen is definitely harder than the forj so knock her off the list. He’s definitely tough when you are going for 20+ wins but the mage is tougher. The mage’s weapons can be blocked a little better since he’s more predictable and has less icon spread but he can still steal and freeze you if you’re not careful. He also has the chance to infinitely heal or use his tome of instant death.
I could be wrong but - because of the great variety in pet builds, weapons available, battling strategies and other various factors THESOVEREIGN set the list up by using the max wins on the HST. Right now Reischen is setting at 36 and The Mage is at 50. There is a good chance I could squeak out another win or two on each but that count is a pretty good testament to their difficulty.
There is a small factor of luck involved, not only with your choice of weapons but also in your opponents.
The HST is not a good gauge to go by, but I don’t think that’s what he’s only going on since the forj would definitely be knocked off the chart. Loot drop plays a lot into HST records. The mage has the chance to drop more amulets and a higher variety of EoR crystals compared to reischen. Reischen is just not worth the hassle. Prodigy is the same way with amulet drops and then arguably harder than para butt. Going for 30+ wins is harder than 10.
I think the only way to rank them is to try and determine difficulty to obtain 10 wins.
[edit]
Opponent stats and weapons they use are probably the best ways to rank them, which would still put the mage as more difficult. Absolutely pet builds and your own weapons play into account for personal hardest challengers, but for a generic list - opponent stats and weapons are the only things that are the same for everyone
I was planning on going by straight hst.
It looks like reischen will probably rank. I want to take another shot at him before adding him.
With all the new high quality challenger I might extend it down to top 15 or top 20. My goal was to create a narrower list of good endgame content. And so many of the impossible chsllegers are still pretty easy on the hst.
Difficulty to get to 10 wins is inconsequential to capped pets. The only challenger that has ever posed a challenge to 10 wins for a capped pet was unnerfed chronocrone. The rest it barely even takes changing to specific weapons to get to 10 wins
This methodology is definitely flawed, but I think it’s the most relavent. Some of the challengers just take forever to get to 100+ wins even though it probably wouldn’t be too hard to do.
[edit] I'm shocked that Hoarfrost isn't going to make the list.

I'm able to look beyond the flaws in compiling the list, after all, it's easily modifiable. I'm glad to hear others opinions about it, too. I certainly don't claim to be an expert and hopefully, by collaborating with other battlers, we can all gain some useful experience. I've tried maxing out most impossible challengers, there's a few still out there that will require different mods which I've been putting off - for obvious reasons.
The main reason I have no problem with the list based off the HST is because I battle indiscriminately - loot and drops are not my primary motivation, rather byproducts of an activity I enjoy to begin with. Every challenger has a chance of dropping battle tokens which is largely overlooked when determining an opponents 'battle worthiness'. Over the coarse of a couple of years I've traded impossible tokens down at least 5 or 6 times, each time ending up with 30-50k easy tokens.
I've found (most) impossible challengers more enjoyable after 10 wins, when there's strategy involved. Unlike getting a thousand wins against an easy opponent. After 25 wins many impossible challengers (Normal and Secret) drop EOR crystals. Admittedly, they are intimidating to equip knowing they'll be lost next time you switch them out but I haven't regretted any so far. I think my favorites are the physical defense EORs with their Fortitude blessing. (If you haven't seen it yet it's a pink bicep icon). It lasts two turns and blocks 25 physical. Combined with the Nerves of Steel blessing of the Mecha (blocks 7 phy) it has actually saved the battle a time or two especially against Reischen and The Mage. Unfortunately I forgot to count how many EOR crystals each of them has dropped for me.
I can't believe Hoarfrost isn't going to be on the list either. I don't know if it's my imagination or lack of memory but he seems as if he's been working out since last year. He certainly hasn't been chilling out as his name would suggest. Plus his HST hasn't been reset in 2-3 years? What's up with that?
