I was attempting to make a premade scroll set of 100 small scrolls, but it appears that the scroll set crashes and removes all scrolls from the set if you try to go over 62 scrolls. At 63 it crashes.
As far as i'm aware there was never a hard cap coded limit to the number of scrolls you can equip, but it appears to be a glitch.

Last year when you were having problems with equipping scrolls were you trying to equip more than 62 scrolls?

This is really late reply, but I have not been on here much and can not exactly remember. I am thinking it was 50. I say this, because my 2 largest scroll sets only have 49 in them.
If you can get 62, I reckon they raised the limit.

I just tested this out and I have this problem too, although I cant get to over 50.
I'm also stuck at 49, it deletes the set if I add another one. And I know Nightrage also used to be blocked at 50

Did you get a chance to look at this ? The 50 limit was probably accidentally added somewhere 10 years ago when no one thought it would be possible just to prevent cheating or things breaking or something

I bet it's not a hard coded limit, its probably a database issue like the old glitch that would delete sp over 2.1bil in any one place.

I think I figured it out
It can hold 42 Stinging Swarm Scroll but not 43.
It can hold a combination of 51 but not 52 gate of evil scroll and Molten Boulder Scroll . (I didn't have 52 of these individually)
It can hold 62, but not 63 Shadow Cloak scroll
Scrolls have have something called a scroll ID that you can see by hovering over their remove button in the scroll library.
Stinging Swarm has an ID of 119 gate of evil and moulten boulder have ids of 29 and 11 Shadow cloak scroll has an ID of 8
3 digit scrolls appear to be taking more memory than 2 digit scrolls than single digit scrolls, so the cell that stores the number is probably capping out at some point. I'm guessing the ratios would make more sense if they were converted to binary or something.
I just remember there was a similar problem like this with sP crossing the 2.1bil mark because of the 32bit storage limit or something like that. probably the same thing here would be my guess, but probably a smaller limit.

I had some 85 Shadow Cloak scrolls in my vault I can test your theory with.
(Adding them manually to the Library was painful, why can't we quickstock scrolls ffs ?)
I added them one by one past the 50 mark. At 63, it worked. At 64, it crashed.
I also tried with Fatal Fire Scrolls. Has a scroll ID of 97. I could equip 50, but at 51 it crashed

Bad time to tell you I had 65 shadow cloak scrolls already in my scroll library and it was the 2 digit ones that I hadn't tested yet.
I wonder if I miscounted and thats why we got slightly different numbers.
[edit] Looking at a list of binary numbers I have a feeling it was probably flawed to use 11 and 29 in the same set of numbers since they would actually be 2 different ammounts of data in binary.
But I also bet you can get even more Blackout scrolls than you can shadow cloak scrolls, since blackout scroll is ID 4. I think scroll ID 1-3 belong to challengers.

Also tried mixing them up. With 50 Shadow Cloak and 10 Fatal Fires or 10 Shriek of Despair it works. One more and it crashes. Or 60 SC and 2 FF. Kinda tired of having it crash on me all the time, hopefully someone can figure this out

Any one heard anything from Staff about this tiny issue? ( as it only affects a small percentage of battlers - something like .00023% ).
Only has been just over a year, since any staff has posted on this thread... 😔
This well-documented glitch has been on ‘s to-do list since October 2018, I do wonder if obscure cases of Revivifying Pylonics are really that much more important ?

There's two ways we can resolve this issue:
Number 2 is the ideal solution, but takes much more resources, which we still haven't been able to prioritize given that this does not affect that many people. I could do Number 1 as a temporary solution but it's more of a band-aid and would end up being more restrictive than the glitch, so I feel like it is probably more harm than good (?)

Your hunch that option one would be more restrictive than the glitch is correct. We would really rather not have that happen. Hopefully option two can remain on the table for a future time.
Puhlease, I beg of you... do not restrict battlers and work on Option 2. I can not speak for others, but I can wait for that. :) My scroll sets work just fine for me, as they are.
