Any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to post (I'm friendlier and more laid back than I probably sound) but most things should be covered below.

What I'm offering: Edits of official Subeta pet art. This can be anything from "make that red not blue" to "draw a new head on this." What I am not offering are complete redraws or custom/from scratch art.

Payment: Either CSC or sP, as these use official Subeta art as a base they cannot be paid for in GBP/USD etc. Please only pay via the trade set up for you once the overlay is complete.

Ordering: Please see below for pricing guide, I'll confirm prices before starting. For now there are 2 slots and a waitlist (orders are unlikely to be terribly fast, if you have time constraints please mention this). Open slot = first person on the waitlist will be pinged to see if they want to claim it (if you opt for no confirmation ping you'll be slotted without me checking in first), if there's no response within 48 hours I'll move down the list. You can drop from the waitlist at any time, just let me know.

Oooh, do you have any examples of your transparency work? I made a custom overlay for myself, but don’t really have enough experience with photoshop in order to make the background transparent (without there being nasty artifacts along the outline). Would this be something you’re willing to do? I can pay, of course. :)

@/Rodent Hi, I've actually been using GIMP for transparency recently, it's got a really nifty "colour to alpha" function (another user kindly alerted me to this feature). Bizarrely it wipes the floor with Photoshop in that regard and is really simple for an image with a solid outline.

So if it's an easy job I'm happy to do it for free if you don't mind me using it as an example? If it's got "effects" (reborn, steamwork, nightmare etc.) price will depend on the image.

I tend to purposely upload examples with white backgrounds to make life difficult for anyone with sticky fingers, so it was a bit dim not to upload any transparency examples.

Oh nice! Those look great, but that darkmatter one is especially fantastic! If you could make mine as clean as that, I'd be ecstatic. I'll have to learn how to do it myself when I have more time in the future. Anyway, I'd be happy to let you use it as an example. :) (obviously just don't claim you made the edit itself, but I'm sure you know that, lol) Shouldn't be too complex, it's just a Nostalgic Feli edit. Should I post the image link here or sMail it?

@/Rodent You only had the one pet that fit the description, so I snagged the image from the pet page, hope that was OK?

I ended up faffing around and made a few examples earlier, so I'll just post yours here in the thread instead, then there's no chance of confusion. Nice job on the edit by the way, you'd never know that wasn't the original base.

That feels really great to hear, especially since I just now put two and two together and realized that you were the one that did one of my favorite overlay edits on the site (the cute white ontra!). I'll definitely hit you up when I have a little more free time in order to get some tips on doing transparency, and I really appreciate you offering to help teach me in the first place. :)

Glad it does your edit justice. Imitating the art/shading style goes a long way to making a good looking edit, that's one of the things that took the most time on that white Ontra overlay.

The nostalgic feli is probably one of the easiest pets on site to make transparent (solid outline, simple shape, full size image available) so it didn't take much effort, but if you really wanted I've stuck a trade up for you. Trade Lot

I just like being awkward apparently, but in all seriousness, a big reason I disabled gifting is that my wishlist is an utter pit (used just for my own reference). I'd hate for anyone to go to the expense of buying something I was only making note of.

Mm, but I still appreciate that you took the time to do it. :) And that's totally understandable! It helps that now you can make pretty much all of your wishlist categories private, so you could potentially avoid that kind of thing happening, but that's really only effective if you're the kind of person that bothers to organize your WL, since the unsorted category still has to remain public in order to work properly.

I really do need to look into properly organizing my wishlist now there's the whole private vs public categories thing, yeah. Mine has loads of categories but sadly each one is a dump in itself. Also, thanks again for the tip.

Now to hope more users stumble in here and throw interesting jobs my way.

Ooh, love your overlays!

What you want done - I would like to have the bloodred yaherra overlay recoloured with the gold(en) yaherra colours. With all the blood removed. I just love the haughty expression on the bloodred one.

If possible, could you keep the antlers the same gold colour, but make the body a slight lighter gold colour? :)

Hi, thanks. I can definitely do that for you. The way I work, if you weren't happy with the final shade of gold it would be easy to alter until it's right.

There's not a ton of blood to draw out on the Yaherra itself but there are a lot of colours on the rainbow scales/gems and it'll need tweaks to the shading to give it that golden shine. Would you be happy to go ahead with it for 600csc?

Yep, I always work on the largest version of the art available and try my best to make it look good at full and reduced size.

Ohhh I loved your work on Epithymia's overlay, I'd love to order one for my pet Reganius. Your edits are so great.

What you want done - Mane and tail end changed to the characters hair colour, longer eyebrows added in the same colour ginger, eyes changed to green with a slight glow if possible, darkmatter orbs removed and the main orb being grasped changed into the colours of this crystal if possbile. If not just remove the face, keeping the colour the same. I would like it if the glow was kept though! And the body being changed to match the colours of the characters clothes, minus the green icon that can be ignored! You're too kind, thanks. Just a couple of things to clarify: do you want to keep the glow around the body or just around the remaining orb? And what colour do you want that glow to be?

This edit would be a minor edit with complex recolour, so 600csc/66mil. Once you OK that I'll get to work on your overlay once 's is done.

- Sorry for the wait, ended up being more difficult than anticipated (all those subtle shades are a killer) and I had to do it over a few sessions. Hopefully the body is light enough, if not I'll see if I can bring it up a bit more. If anything else needs tweaking do say.

- Your pet pages and profiles are serious eye candy, so I feel you're probably selling yourself short there, thanks though. The secret weapon for these is "gradient maps", if you use Photoshop I highly recommend looking it up. Feel free to comment me if you have questions.

No worries, I love it! If it's not too much trouble then I'd love a darker colour, something between the oriuginal golden-gold and the light colour you have chosen. :)
