- I'm painfully aware of sounding like a scratched record here, but sorry for the length of time this is taking/vanishing for a bit. Family came to stay at extremely short notice and "a few days" apparently meant well over a week, so all my energy ended up being wasted on freaking out about people being at the house and messing with routine etc.

If you want to drop your slot I take no offence and there'll be no charge for any work already done, if you're OK with waiting on me (although hopefully I'll get these done soon, now family's gone) I'm happy to finish your overlays.

What you want done I'd like for the colouration of the Hydrus Jollin to be more.. swampy! No need to remove or change of the creatures attached to the jollin, just recolour them to fit in with the new scheme.

Refs/description I really like the colour scheme of the graveyard[/img] jollin, that has inspired me.

I'd like the base colour (I circled it) to be that colour, but if you think different shades work better I trust you to make better decisions than me. :P The horns etc can stay black, and just pick a matching colour for the starfish etc. :D

- Ooh, I've been wanting to work with the Hydrus Jolin base. Because of the detailed markings on the Hydrus pets it'd be a "complex recolour" at 500csc, is that OK? Also, would you like a ping to confirm you still want the slot or for me just to start as soon as I'm done with 's overlay?

- Hi, added you to the waitlist. Just to clarify two things: do you want the horns and/or "eyebrows" kept? and are any of the Noktoa markings staying or would it be all white with redrawn markings to match a snowy owl?

Also, would you like a confirmation ping before I move you to an open slot or to go ahead as soon as previous orders are complete?

- Markings and eyebrows can stay, horns can go if possible. And yes, ping please as I’m not on as often as I should be.

- Can do on the horn removal and ping, but because I can be a bit dense - markings wise it'd be just recoloring the existing markings to black and white? I'm interpreting that as: make the base white with the darker face markings, wing and neck spots black; then on the body/chest make it white with the stripes black?

Just want to be clear, because removing the chest stripes to make the whole area white would bump the price up a bit, as that means either manually drawing over the markings or exactly blending in the markings with adjustment layers (which is fussy).

If you wanted to keep the chest stripes it'd be 300csc (including the horn removal, as it's a simple job and you only want a basic recolour) vs. 400csc to remove the stripes also.

- Unfortunately I'm still not 100% clear on your order, so I made a quick mock up, then there's no need to rely on my dire communication skills. Does this match where you want the markings?

- That makes more sense in terms of snowy owl colouring, yeah. I think it was just the "markings can stay" thing that threw me.

I swear I'm not trying to drive you up the wall, but about the chest markings. I was intending to make the main base very white (like the owls themselves) which would mean there wouldn't be any way to go lighter with the chest stripes, so some options:

1. Remove the chest markings completely so the whole body is white (like the head).
2. Make the base cream/off white coloured so the chest stripes can be lighter.
3. Make the base very white but have the chest stripes cream/off white.

Also, now there's an open slot, would you like to be moved from the waitlist now? It'd be 400csc, because while there are markings that need removing it's otherwise a basic job.
