Only with pets you already own. I’m guessing it might mess up the coding somehow, which maybe why this was never suggested. -shrugs-

Can this not be accomplished by a name swap?

I assume this would be akin to the "transfer treasure chest slot" feature? If so, that's tricky. Even if it was swapping stats between two IDs you'd have non-achievement based loot obtainable via as many pets as one user could afford to swap (biggest issue of course being plots or plots I'm sure).

If it was transferring stats (old stats + new stats) then it could only apply to lower tier pets, otherwise one could easily train T12/13 pets without boosters. Or combine the stats of two T12+ pets for yikes.

If that's not the case, yeah a name change will do it.

(That said I have cried to Keith a billion times in the past because my crazy ID hoarding would love to waste a ton of money swapping around stats so my lowest ID would be my strongest pet. But that wasn't possible before, even disregarding the potential of loot abuse, and I somehow doubt it's possible now. So yeah I'd love to see it in theory, but I don't think it'd ever happen.)

, i was hoping to avoid that because the two i want to trade are experiment pets. I don care about the achievements with the book pet honestly. But i guess its inevitable that this wouldn’t happen anyways. Thought id just post to see the reasons not. You can lock this if you want.

I was more just wondering why name swapping wouldn't do the same thing. I'm happy leaving this open, especially since name swapping won't do what you want it to do

Swapping stats would easily break the point of battling. If I could swap Elfric's stats to all my other pets, I could easily get all the loot and EXP I need to easily reach the point of capping him and then swap those capped stats back to him. And obviously this would be an issue with boss fights.

You're just gonna have to suck up the costs of name exchanging and changing your pet's appearance. Can't do anything about the IDs, it is what it is for a reason.
