how can you say no to that adorable face? :c I love animals in the bovidae family (goats, sheep, buffalo, cows), they're so cute, and we don't really have a 'goat' pet yet. The Devonti is a sheep, the bovyne is a cow, and the neela is an antelope/gazelle), and I really think it'd be super cute if we had a goat pet (and a buffalo, but Oatmeal would satisfy the basic design pretty easily since Oatmeal already exists xD) The design doesn't have to be carbon-copied from Oatmeal of course (similiar to the Wizard's Luna with the kumosi), but I'd be super excited if we could get our own Oatmeal goat pet, too. ❤️

(maybe farmer joe or whoever's family had been raising a new breed and we can finally adopt them? it could always be done as a 'specialty' adoption like some of the other pets, with maybe a small adoption fee of like 500k or something, if they aren't a normally adoptable species like the kumos and co.?)

Gunter takes care of Oatmeal. According to his Subetapedia entry, Oatmeal was given to him by Rosemary.

There's nothing in Rosemary's entry to suggest she raises goats, and it sounds like she'd be too busy for it. So where did Oatmeal come from? :o

Adding Oatmeal's species as a pet could bring in a new NPC. And maybe Oatmeal could be involved in the process of adopting one of his kind?

Oatmeal already has an onsite species, only it's a minion rather than a pet: (see related book from which I definitely infer there are others. Also a bunch of wearables).

I do like sheep/goats and I'm never going to object if the staff add more :D but with the Devonti/Sheeta (even if the latter is only vaguely goatlike), I feel like there are more significant absences in the Subeta pets lineup that I'd rather see first if we were getting a new species.

Earth exists in the Subeta universe. We are not on it. Those of us users who are human and the the human NPCs are the aliens to this particular solar system. ("solar system" seems weird, but as far as I can tell the homestar of this system is not named even though the planets other than Subeta are)

I think Oatmeal is a minion? He doesn't talk and pets do talk when you feed/read to them and there are Pet Spotlight winning pets that are bookworms. I think the whole point of Let Goat of Your Worries is that Oatmeal doesn't talk or read and is quite happy to eat whatever you wrote without even considering the words on the page.

The Neela was intended to be fill in the last of the perceived bovine-cervine-ovine-bubaline quadruped gaps. I think a Custom Overlay on the Antlephore, Neela, or Sheeta would be better than a new species in this instance.

Maybe if the Sheeta artist wanted to give it a 180, and combine elements of the current Sheeta and Oatmeal as a compromise to have a more goat-like pet. Lol, doubtful, but outside of that, I think we have enough species.

I hope we get a goat-like species at least, I've always wanted one :<
