I love that the custom overlay totem is now a thing, but I wanted to suggest adding a name exchange totem, or modifying the existing Loyalty Petname Totem to include the function of a name exchange. Either way would be fine. Any support for this notion?

If you've been here for so long to get a loyalty box, why not be rewarded with or have the option to choose free CSC for your dedication? For a once a year deal and non-tradeable/sellable, it won't have any impact on the value of CSC.

Support - it's just like the other types of items offered in the Loyalty Box so I don't see why it shouldn't be an option :)

I'd love to see more options in general for the loyalty boxes! I always liked them, but I often sit on them for years until something appeals to me from in it.

Last I checked, I found a lot of the options weren't quite "worth it"...in the sense I'd rather spend sp and some time, instead of using up a loyalty box to get the same result. Hope that makes sense?

How would the 500-1000 csc thing work tho? Once the CSC are on your account, nothing stops you from getting cards/items from the cash shop and selling them. The point of the loyalty box is to give out something to YOU and you alone, something you can't trade/sell. I don't support this.

You literally wouldn't have to be dedicated to get these rewards. At all. All you'd have to do is register, forget the site existed for a while, or drop in once in a blue moon, then come back to free premium currency. And yes, I know staff sometimes gives out free csc, but afaik that goes active users and not the entire userbase.

All loyalty totem items are non-tradeable. With the CSC one, you'd be pumping actual CSC into the system for free instead of giving out boons that normally cost CSC. Any and all old and inactive accounts would have access to the CSC boon. So someone coming back from a long hiatus and coming back to like... 40$+ of free CSC in loyalty boxes means they won't be spending that real cash on the site, even if they could afford to do it. Is it sweet to come back to free premium currency? Fuck yeah! Is it good for the site? ... Yeahnotreally. Would it make people want to stick around vs. registering and only dropping in periodically to reap the benefits? That's up for debate. Would it nudge people to register fake "this is my mom/dad/aunt Fanny" accounts just to reap the benefits? Likely.

You can convert the loyalty CSC card into your on-hand currency. And then you can just go to the Cash Shop, buy a 500 Point Credit Card and sell that. The site can't block you from doing that. What could they do, block you from buying CSC cards? What if you wanted to sell the old "legit" CSC you've already had? Or what if you wanted to convert your CSC into cards for safekeeping or gifting to friends? That'd just be a mess.

And lastly... this might be a spot of paranoia speaking, but that's just begging for people to try and break into old accounts that haven't been logged into for years. ._.

So that's a no from me on the free CSC idea. Wonderful in theory? Absolutely! In practice? 😬 I don't really see it working out. [sub]Yes I am a "worst case scenario" person.[/sub]

inb4 "but it's the same thing as loyalty totems, only made simpler!" - nope. CSC lets you buy anything you want from the Cash Shop or CW shops. And you can also sell it for sP. Can't sell the loyalty totems.

While I would love CSC in the loyalty box is right, the loyalty box seems designed to thank players for their loyalty by allowing them expensive CSC options without funneling CSC into the system.

But, lets be honest the 3 month gold account option does already have to potential to put lots of extra sp into the system so buying anything but csc cards wouldn't be so bad (after all buying items introduces no new currency into the system). Since creating a complicated workaround allowing you to buy everything but the CSC cards seems like a lot of work for a relatively small system it is in my opinion not a good solution.

A thing I would instead like to be added to the loyalty box would be a fixed amount of Loyalty points (maybe 19 enough for 1 top tier or 2 lower tier loyalty prizes). After all both are rewards for site loyalty even if a different kind

Okay, how about this regarding a CSC tome:

Once you choose that tome out of the box, you can't actually redeem it as in putting it onto your account. Instead, when you go to the CS, you can select the tome as a means of paying for the item(s) you want to buy with it, except CSC. These would have to be strictly exempt from being buyable with the tome.

So kind of like a giftcard? That's better than straight up giving the players loyalty CSC, but it still allows people to buy whatever non-credit gift card items they want from the cash shop and then sell what they bought. Still an issue, especially for a Black Friday sale. :X

Hm, how about a 24-hour Cash Shop discount? Something like... idk, 15%? That'd make an interesting dent for high-ticket items (like petslots, account name changes, pet name changes, pet name swaps, etc.), but you would be using your own CSC for those purchases instead of pumping it into the system for free.

I'd say instead of CSC, something like a small loyalty box shop. Could redeem for one of such as such item from a Loyalty Shop that are tied to your account.
