I'm fighting Mama Mush and I've got 68 wins so far against her according to my stats page, but sometimes it's randomly not counting my wins and on those pages all it's saying is "You have defeated Mama Mush." This happened twice just now.

It was more the issue of not getting my drop/exp, which sadly is irretrievable. The stats page had the correct number of wins the entire time - but they weren't counting when I was actually fighting her. I'd have to fight again to see if it says "You have defeated Mama Mush 78 times" or if it still only counts on the actual defeat page as 76, which I can't do at the moment. I'll try to remember to check it tomorrow if I can.

Sometimes the page when you finish a battle doesn't say the prizes on it, but you still get the prizes! It just fails to display them correctly - I think it's caused by an accidental double-click but I'm not sure.

I definitely did not get the prizes, I was keeping track and moving things after each one.

And, to verify that your explanation is incorrect and it's not fixed, here's my test for you. My count is still 2 off when I'm /actually/ fighting her - the site registered in my statistics that I had beaten her the two times it had an error, but I was never credited on whatever database the actual wins with rewards are counted on:

Like, honestly, I'm not a moron. I don't have a screenshot of the error'd page because my habit to just click to start a fight again was too fast so I lost the page. It happened twice on the 3rd, when I made this thread. It was the first time I've noticed that happen. It was a weird error on that day, I don't know if anyone else has experienced it (either then, before, or after), but I'm telling you it happened with proof. Which you can see because the two numbers don't match.

I've correctly resynced your wins now, so they should match up with what's in our database (meaning the two glitched wins were are no longer counted)

Question, both of the glitched wins occurred on March 3rd, correct? Do you remember what numbers they should have been?

Also, when you do get rewards, which win count's rewards are you getting? For instance, a lot of opponents have special rewards on the 50th win, if you are 2 off then are you still getting this on the 50th win or would it give you the special reward while saying "You defeated XYZ 48 times!"

I think they were 72 and 73 (like, it took two tries to get each of those if I recall correctly).

I got the correct prizes when the defeated said 75 wins against her (the scroll and all of the crystals) - but technically they were granted on my 77th win (but it said I defeated mama mush 75 times). Does that make sense? I feel like it's getting confusing haha.

Yes haha, it is a little confusing, but fwiw I believe that you have two wins that were not counted, because the statistics page had them in the total even though they were not logged anywhere else. (Unfortunately there is no record of them in the battle stats table, so I am not sure if it is possible to restore your prizes.)

One more question, do you remember how many times you battled that opponent with that pet, on March 3rd?

(If this happens again, try to record this information as the more detailed log we have of what happened, the easier it is to figure out why it happened. Especially since this error is random and infrequent I'm afraid it's going to be something really subtle and hard to debug.)

Eh, I don't /need/ the prizes/exp. I was annoyed at not having them when the site was saying I had the wins - but if the wins have been removed we're all good on that front. It would've been like..maybe 2 dark water potions and 60 exp total.

Oh man....uh....that is a really good question. At least 25 times (well, no, at least 27 times because of the two errors). I can't recall if I had less than 50 wins when I started that day. I try to marathon the challengers with scroll pieces because it's a lot of tedious clicking and my patience only lasts so long, so if I can sit and just pound it out, it's easier...but I know I spent at least 2 days working on Mama Mush because of time issues. I can't make an accurate guess beyond 25.

And yeah - I don't recall ever seeing it before (but as I mentioned, I get into the rhythm of clicking back without really looking/paying attention, so I could have missed it before). I have been watching more closely since then and so far haven't had a repeat. But if it does happen again, I'll make sure to screenshot the page and also see if I can grab the source code for you and stick it in a gdoc or something.

For some reason my stats say I have 103 wins. I think I double clicked on one 'See Results' yesterday and that is the only thing I can think of that may have caused it.

It just did it again (March 28, 2018 - approximately 5:30-5:34 pm Subeta time). Fighting Deadly Bella - this should have been win 85 (according to my stats page, which says I defeated her 85 times), but instead this is all I got:

[edit] thank you bug! I'm having a similar problem but with my losses. I've been trying to battle the 7 headed Panzer Hydra so I can squeeze 5 wins out of it, it is just listed as "Panzer Hydra" in the stats like the other versions before it. But I know which one it should be because I have won 3 times but lost probably dozens of times now. At first I thought it was a cache problem but it's been over a day now and the losses aren't showing.

My other pet https://subeta.net/games/battle/stats.php?view=pet&id=1814822 battled a lower Panzer Hydra (the one he has 8 wins against) and lost a lot in the same way but the losses are not shown on this page either.

However on my main battle stats page it says I have 38 losses.

@ Bug i'm also having this issue. one of the times i "defeated" aboxalypse, the page didn't seem to load fully. it just said "you have defeated aboxalypse" with no number, no rewards, and no link to rebattle. i thought maybe i was just being impatient and navigated away, but now my stats page shows one more win against aboxalypse than what the text upon winning says - so for instance i just got, according to the win page, my 69th win (lmao nice), but the stats page says i have 70 wins.

- I hope this is the right place to post this - looks like it to me. A little earlier I lost 10 times to Chase with my poor little not really battle pet Scutey in order to unlock Mathis. Now when I check the statistics for Scutey it still says 1 loss to Chase (yes, I made that poor pet suffer once before for some similar reason) but when I check my statistics against Chase, Scutey is correctly (I assume since I didn't actually count) listed as having lost 11 times. I have waited long enough that it "shouldn't" be a cache issue, and I know the numbers on both pages should match. Not causing me any trouble, just thought you should know. Aren't computers fun? :-)

Just posting to confirm what mentioned. Myself and at least one other were talking about it on the battle chat thread yesterday: apparently the stat pages for individual pets are not always counting the losses/draws correctly, but the pages for the individual challengers are (as far as I can tell).

Okay, I resynced my pets' pages and then tested a few times, and it seems like it's counting correctly now on the individual pet stat pages. I tried losing a few times normally, and also forfeiting a few times and it counted properly for both. :)

- I did not need to resync since when I got to Scutey's page the count was correct today. Did try two more battles against Chase with Scutey (oh that poor terrified little teeny pet :-) ) and verified that the losses show up correctly on both statistics pages Didn't try any forfeits since already did that. Looks like you have once again made things work as intended. Thank you.
