I hate putting items in pet treasures by accident, it's very annoying to have to go and remove them, a confirmation box would be so appreciated! edit: Looks like the most popular suggestion is a optional confirmation, which would be awesome too!
[edit]Original and old suggestion of a confirmation box wasn't popular at all, but cleverly suggested a confirmation page, similar to what we have with foods or books and wearables:
"What I wouldn't mind is a sort of "ITEM has been put into PETNAME's treasure!" receipt summary page, for lack of a better word. The "petname's treasure" would link to the TC. That way you can go and superquickly retrieve your item if you meant to put it somewhere else."
This would be good mainly because after you put the item in the treasure chest, you can go right to it in one-click. You can keep cheeking how many slots you have left if you are not sure, too. And for us clumsy people who put a item in Shinwa-knows-which of our 20 pets treasures we shoved a item after a page jump and a miss click.
I feel you! My pets have lots of Dark Potions in their TCs that were supposed to be equipped. :P I'm usually to lazy to take them out.

What was the question?
There is no need for confirmation because there is no danger of losing an item in TCs. It's not like deleting an item, or adding to a collection. It's retrievable.
I can see how this would be useful to some people, but unless it can be made optional, no support. It may be annoying to accidentally put an item in your pet's TC, but it'd also be annoying having to confirm every item when you've got a lot of stuff to put in TCs.
This is one of the very few cases where I do not support a confirmation box. It's very easy to remove an item from a TC and it cannot be lost to the void. Sorry, this is just one case where it isn't needed.
Eh, I can't say I'd support this. Primarily because the pet treasure option is always at the bottom of the function list in a clearly marked subsection and is less easily confused than say, read vs use (to use tomes for example), which blend seamlessly into the same list.
I have to say the only issues I've had with misplacing something in pet treasures is when I'm actively trying to place that item into a different pet treasure. Ultimately, for as much as I juggle through my numerous pet TCs, it hasn't been much of a problem for me. And as has been mentioned, this does not compromise the item in anyway and is easily rectified.
That, and if you're the sort of person who mass-adds TC items (as I am), that just builds up into a lot of ultimately unnecessary UI clutter. Confirmation prompts are best used when you run the risk of destroying or misusing an item, but here the cost/benefit strikes me as more skewed in the direction of time spent clicking through prompts vs time saved moving one or two items from one pet's TC to another.
This has happened to me several times but I can see a confirmation being an inconvenience to many people. Maybe we could toggle it on and off?
This would be useful to me but it's not enough of an inconvenience for me to be too worried about it

Thank you!
Personally I would hate this. I'm constantly throwing things into TCs and a confirmation popping up every single time I did would just annoy the heck outta me.
I can understand it's uses because I do this shit all the time because of all my pets, but I'm hoping the change to the item menus that Amber is working on will help this problem.
No thanks. I am constantly putting multiple things into various tcs and I would hate to have to click a popup every time. I put things in the wrong tc too but it's not worth an annoying popup imo. I think that is right :3 and what's already being worked on will help make it easier to add to the correct tc the first time! We should just be patient and see what they're coming up with c:
No support, it'd be annoying to deal with every single time. You're not losing the items in any way, shape or form, and it's just a couple clicks away to put it back in your inventory.
I'm always adding to TCs, and often a lot of items at a time are being sorted away, so it'd just be obnoxious to put up with. I don't want to have to give confirmation after I go on a binge of item-buying to put five to ten items in a single TC.
Yeah, unless this is toggle-able on and off I think it would be more of a hassle than a help and I know that I myself would toggle it off immediately.

I also don't agree, it doesn't take much time to remove an item accidentally added to the wrong TC. And that item is safe in that TC meanwhile as well. I'm sorry. I have put items in the wrong TC due to page jump and it is irritating. But not so much I would want a confirmation popup.
Though, as mentioned by user I wouldn't mind a toggle popup. Anything optional that would make some users's experience better, I'm all for it. It all depends on the programmers's time.
I updated the first post with the toggle popup suggestion! I imagine how it can be annoying even though I don't find confirmations annoying myself (hit enter and you're good), and having the control over having it up or no would be hella great.
If Its something I can opt out of, fine. But when I do Pet TCs I do 20-200 items at a time. Please do not make me click more. Its already a pain in the ass with so many pets.

No thanks. I don't see any need for a confirmation box for that - you aren't changing your pet's species or colour, you don't lose the item(s).
And besides, if you just hit 'enter' on the popup anyway, most likely you aren't going to read it in detail (if you're doing 20+ treasure chest items in a row, it'd be easy to get into a rhythm of click, enter, click enter, and not necessarily pay attention to the popup), and still could have put the treasure meant for pet A into pet B's treasure chest :P
Yes I have misclicked more times than I wish to admit (with 78 pets, it's way too easy to click the wrong line!), but rather than a confirmation I'm hoping that 's item menu updates will make it easier to click the right pet each time.

Noooo! I have a thousand items in one of my TCs, that would have been a thousand more clicks, yikes!. I reject the creation of a problem for me just because you have one. Putting stuff in a TC is not permanent or a loss. If you don't like accidentally putting stuff in and then taking them back out, maybe the irritation will help you learn not to do that.
You don't need to be rude, no one is forcing anything here, it's a suggestion w/ a option for people who would be bothered by this too.
Mmmm, it's a no from me. Sorry, OP. D: I'm one of those people who buys a LOT of TC items at once and shoves them into a pet's TC. A confirmation popup would make that process even slower.
Even if it's made optional, it's kind of... not really necessary, imo? You still have the item on your account, the biggest issue is having to go dig it out of a TC.
What I wouldn't mind is a sort of "ITEM has been put into PETNAME's treasure!" receipt summary page, for lack of a better word. The "petname's treasure" would link to the TC. That way you can go and superquickly retrieve your item if you meant to put it somewhere else. I also feel that stickers would benefit from a page like that. I'm always fretting that I'm going to stick the wrong person, even after double-checking the username. ._.
Edited for clarity, because words without coffee are hard.
Thats a really, really great idea :o can I add it to the first post?
Sure thing, go right ahead! c:
I hope they add it in the new item interface. It would make it much less of a hassle to double-check if you actually put it in the TC you meant it for, or if you stuck the sticker to the friend you meant the sticker for. Much easier to keep tabs on things!
