Who’s excited for Halloween and/or Morostide?

I am :D ( for both xd) I always enjoy Morostide on Subeta...the new items are really great. For real life stuff, there's a convention near the end of October which I'll be attending with some friends and for Halloween, I'm going to London again (this time with my best friend to the HP studio tour, yay. xd Which reminds me to upload the images I took last week. xd )
Last year, I made pumpkin curry and I certainly want to do that again...but then, it was so annoying to cut the pumpkin in pieces. XD
Despite my long years on Subeta, I don't think I've ever been online for the entirety of Morostide so I'm certainly going to enjoy it all out hahaha
As for Halloween, we don't really have Halloween in our country. We celebrate All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day (We're a pretty catholic country) sooooo yep. No trick or treating and costumes and whatnot. We go to the cemetery instead where our loved ones are buried and spend the day (and night) there, putting flowers and candles, saying prayers that kind of stuff.
I like Morostide on Subeta too. There are so many great items. I have to use SubetaLodge and catch up on last year's too because I was on hiatus then.
It's nice that you have so much to look forward to this month. Enjoy the convention, and London and the HP tour! I made pumpkin pie with my bf a couple weeks ago. We made the crust from scratch and the filling from 100% canned pumpkin, which is typically used in American pumpkin pies. The curry sounds interesting!
What country do you live in?
Halloween is pretty commercialized in the states. It's really mostly about children dressing in costumes and trick-or-treating (big candy holiday) and adults dressing in costume and going to parties. The photos I've seen of cemeteries lit up in Europe on November 1 are beautiful. [edit] You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!

Philippines. Yep, the cemeteries at night are actually beautiful and quite noisy. It's not really a sad day for us, it mostly turns into a pseudo-family reunion kind of thing. We send prayers for our departed loved ones but we also bring food and laughter. It's just a personal opinion, but I think that what makes it merry is because we end up remembering them, and reliving our memories with them and make us feel as though... they're still there with us in those few moments. hahaha. Hope that doesn't sound too creepy or anything.
Actually the trick or treat/costuming thing do actually happen in the major cities in the Philippines. It's not common though. I wasn't even aware of the concept of trick or treat until I was... probably 13 or so.
It doesn’t sound creepy, it sounds nice.
Some places only do scary costumes for Halloween. It’s misinterpreted by the protagonist in the movie Mean Girls and is really funny. Jimmy Kimmel, an American talk show host, does a segment in which parents video their children’s reactions after they tell them they ate all the candy from trick-or-treating the night before.

I love Morostide, it's one of the three events on Subeta I enjoy the most. Have been quite lucky so far as well and found this years' Patch Minion on my third try. Therefore Nightlady again dropped no Shriek for me, making my bad luck streak in the Battle Coliseum last for four years straight now.
Halloween on the other hand isn't sth I can get excited for as it's not properly celebrated here except for some wannabe-awesomeHalloween parties in the horrible discos we have around here. Drunken people are nasty enough, but drunken people in cheap "sexy nurse" and whatever costumes? Count me out, Germany.
I like Morostide, but I find it a bit overwhelming because I tend to be busy irl in October. What tier is your main battle pet?
I'm going to be Luigi for a group Mario Kart costume. Stranger Things' second season comes out Halloweekend too. I've actually been wanting overalls for a while, and I bought a cute mini-dress version for my costume that I'll actually wear. Halloween in the U.S. is great, but I'd take those German Christmas markets any day. There are a few in NYC, but they pale in comparison to the European ones.

My main battler is Tier 12 for a whole eternity now as I stopped training him because I don't have the time for battle quests anymore. ^^; I also have a Tier 10 who is able to get a few more wins in.
Luigi and the Mario Kart group sounds really awesome, I wish you a lot of fun with it! Unfortunately not all Christmas markets here are as pretty as it seems; the one in my town for example...forget about it, I never visit it because it's just ugly and boring. Overall I'm not the Christmas type of person, I think I could enjoy a good Halloween celebration much more.
I have a Tier 5 that I trained and a Tier 7 that I adopted. Battling is something I'm interested in, but I need to develop more patience and work ethic towards it.
I took off from work and went to NYC today, and there's this place called Chelsea Market that had really cool decorations for Halloween. It must be extra exciting for tourists who don't celebrate that holiday at home.

I hope it's not too late to respond to the op. :)
I'm excited for Halloween. Halloween is my favorite holiday and this year is the first time I'm home for Halloween in four years. It was fun decorating my house with spooky decor. My friend was planning on having a Halloween party this weekend but she canceled it. :c
I don't know if I'll be dressing up this year. It depends if I end up going out. I'm not sure what I'm doing on Halloween yet.
I can't wait for next Halloween. I'm hoping to host my own Halloween party or a murder mystery party (sort of like Escape the Room) and would like to coordinate a group costume with friends.
The ragdolls are my favorite part of Morostide. I'm working on earning some achievements before Morostide ends.
You're just in time. c:
Will you still dress up if you stay home? Do you get trick-or-treaters? Escape the Room is fun, but I've always wanted to dress up for a murder mystery party. Halloween masquerades are good too.
October always goes by too quickly!

I ended up having a small get-together with some friends. I decided to dress up as a witch. We didn't get any trick-or-treaters this year. I think we usually only get a couple of trick-or-treaters each year.
Now that it's November, the year is going to go by even faster. It seems like stores aren't even recognizing Thanksgiving as the next holiday. Every store I've gone to lately is only selling Christmas and Hanukkah decor and crafts.
That sounds like fun. Thanksgiving always gets the shaft. I appreciate it more now that I’m in my twenties. The food and company is something I look forward to. — Please wish our prefect a happy birthday today. Our member is celebrating her birthday too. 🎂 💚 🐍

Yaaaay birthdays! Happy Birthday
.......
& I apologize for missing out; I was looking forward to the triwizard event but real life happened...a best friend shockingly died. & apologies if this was upsetting; it's not like you guys know anything about me, but I just felt like I had to say something. Birthdays & Deathdays...just live whilst you can.
No need to apologize at all. I’m truly sorry for your loss. We would love to have you partake in Wizarding activities any time, but there are no participation requirements and we understand that people should always prioritize real life offline.
I hope you enjoy your special day. c:

Thank you so much ! C: 💚
Happy birthday to you as well! 💚 I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you are alright, given the circumstances. :c And I hope you had a great day. ♥
[edit]
Happy Birthday to ! I hope you have a special and wonderful day 🐍
it's okay. I lost a human best friend very suddenly in March and then my cat in May.
I won't say it gets better, but it gets easier, and I've certainly been a huge flake most of this year because of it, but your actual friends will understand.

🎉 Happy Birthday! 🎉 I hope you're having lots of fun today.
I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss. :( You don't need to apologize for not being active during the tournament. It's hard to lose someone and it's even harder when it's someone you're close to. I hope you're doing okay. 💚
I hope you were able to enjoy your birthday.
