Hello, everyone! Just started today!
Anyways, as is probably obvious, I am VERY new and literally have no clue what I'm doing. So, help a newbie out? What is there to do on the site? How do I make more currency? How do I feed my pet? Best way to obtain food? Any goals for the site? Thanks!
will be along and she will give you some links that will help you
Welcome to Subeta! There's a bunch of links below to help start you off, but if you have any questions feel free to ask :)
There's lots to do on here, what interested you to join?

Thanks for the links! I'll be sure to take a look. I mainly joined because I saw the pets online and they were super adorable :) Plus, I find games like this fun to play while I'm stuck in long college lectures.
One of the first things I got around to was picking the colors and working on my pets too! You might enjoy looking through SubetaLodge and deciding what you want for your pets :) Quests are a great way to easily and fairly quickly earn a bunch of sP to help you achieve your pet goals ^__^

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your time here. I'm sending you a few collectables. :)
Welcome! Hope you enjoy your time here. I'm sending you a few collectables. :)
That sounds fun! I saw a few that looked cute for my pet. I'll have to look into how to obtain them!
Omg thank you! You are too kind! Btw... is that a Doctor Who doll your avatar is holding?!?! :D
welcome! I was new myself a couple months back!
The biggest way to make sp, the subeta currency, for me has been to do the daily quests. Under the "personal" menu button, there's a drop-down called "customize sidebar"-- from there you can add the widget "Quests", which gives you a handy link to all of them.
Start out with Sarah's quests-- hers are specifically tailored to newbies because they are very low risk (you won't lose money) and very easy to complete.
I'll be honest, I'm lazy and don't feed my pet-- if you go to the "Subeta" menu then "explore" that'll take you to the various worlds you can explore. Veta Lake has a resort which will take care of your pet's hunger and happiness for a small fee.
Goals are whatever you want them to be! My first goal was to get Canin to his current pretty color, then after that I fell down the insane rabbit hole known as the Wardrobe and Custom Wearables. Now that's my new hobby-- updating and making neat Human Avatars! (You can investigate it by clicking "personal" and then going to "wardrobe"... but beware, because it will eat all your money if you let it!
Yep, Matt Smith. Personally, Tennant is my favorite, but I haven't found a Tennant doll on here. This is the item if you want one too. :) [item2=Doctor Rag Doll]
Nice to meet you! I haven't tried quests yet; I'll definitely take a look into them! And the resort sounds nice. It's kinda tiring feeding Quintley one food item at a time, to increase one hunger, and then listening to him complain about whatever I gave him -_- Will check it out!
Ahhhhh I know what I'm saving up for <3 Matt Smith is definitely my favorite, so that makes me really really happy :'D It's always nice to meet a fellow Doctor Who fan!
Thanks for the info! Is there any other place to get books other than the book shop?
Also, thanks a ton for the sticker! What are these stickers though? Do they serve any purpose, or are they just for collecting? (Either way, they seem fun!)
There are books all over the place. If you drop the menu at Commerce, you'll see the main restocking shops. You'll find 'books' in the Music shop in the form of CDs and sheet music as well as books. Atebus restocks books. There are a few in the Trading Card Centre. Books show up in the monthly collections and are in this Keelhauliday event as well as the Recycle shop. All over the place.
Join SubetaLodge. It has really helpful info about collections and individual items.
Yeah, stickers are essentially for collecting. Otherwise serve no purpose. Same with Trading Cards. Lots of things here to love/hate collecting! lol
Hi Lefraise! Welcome to Subeta. I see you got given a lot of links that help show what to do on here. It's fairly easy to make currency by questing, and selling stuff. I also love Doctor Who, and your avatar is just so so cute.
Welcome to Subeta, !
Hope you are figuring it out and enjoying yourself!
Thanks! ^_^ The links have definitely been helpful. Plus, I think I'm starting to get the hang of things! (kind of.) At least so far I've been having fun lol. Plus, this is by far the friendliest community I've come across, so that's a definite plus!
(Also, thanks for the compliment! And, like I said before, it's always nice to meet a fellow Doctor Who fan!)
Thanks! I definitely am!
hey there! Welcome to Subeta! If you have any questions at all, feel free to ping me or leave a comment :) Like said, doing quests is a really easy way to make sP. I find Saggitarious (Sarah's the newbie equivalent; you have to have a certain amount of sP to do these quests!), The Wizard, Shinwa (sometimes she'll give you valuable stuff, other times just junk but I like to do her quests anyway because her valuables sell for a lot and are usually stat boosters for your pets) and Quentin are in my opinion the most rewarding quests. Saggi and Sarah give you the most sP, the Wizard gives you tokens (which are spent at the Token Shop or Blackheart Hollow, but some people like to sell them for a chunk of sP), and Quentin gives you mage amulets every few quests that usually go for around 300-350k and are always in super high demand (any amulets in my shop usually sell in 2-3 days!) There's also freebie things, such as the tree in Atebus which you can visit for a free fruit every day, the Bath House (really rewarding, check out some of the forum posts!), the Random game, pet jobs, the Ruffie Raffle at Delphi Beach, and numerous giveaways in the giveaway section of the forums! you can also visit the free food center in Riverside, which gives out free food to newbies and occasionally has a free gift for everyone. As for pets, there's a TON of species and colors to choose from. A lot of pets don't have a few of the colors yet, but eventually all pets will have all colors. Potions are typically fairly expensive depending on the rarity, but elixirs can be bought pretty cheaply (potions only change color; elixirs change species AND color). As others have said before me, SubetaLodge is great for everything Subeta. I would highly recommend training your pets as well, as stats are crucial when battling and are required for job promotions. Books can be bought from, of course, Book Nook and are really kind of all around the site--some are holiday items, others are restocked, etc. If you're looking for a friend, you can always add me! :)
❤️ If you can't handle being at the bottom, you don't deserve to be at the top. ❤️

Thanks a ton! :)
I've tried my hand at a few quests, and they seem to be pretty helpful. I've only tried a few though. I'll be sure to try more!
And I've started checking out some other pets. I actually noticed the price difference with elixirs and potions, and used an elixir to change the color of Quintley rather than use a potion (but used an elixir of the same species). Are there any colors that don't have elixirs?
Thanks for all the info! ^_^
