So, what are some skills you want to learn, improve on, or are maybe already in the process of learning?
Personally, I want to learn how to throw pottery, whittle, and learn a bunch of more... fabric-related skills - is there an umbrella term for them? Sewing, knitting, crocheting and the like. Otherwise, I should probably sit down and actually draw something more often so I can actually improve at it.
^ I want to learn how to sew, too! I've been working on it for a long time, but I never improve... ^^;
I'd really love to figure out how to make proper 3D models, too. Topology always messes me up really badly.
Oh I so agree with everyone!! I would really love to sew my own cosplays, cosplaying more creatively then just purchasing things online sounds amazing. Not sure if this applies as well but I would like to learn video editing? All the programs out there seem too expensive for me lol.
Everyone's talking about sewing :D I was going to mention it too! But specifically I want to learn how to make plushies.
I'd love to be able to make handmade teddy bears and design my own plushie critters. But from all the sewing I've done so far, I'm kind of clumsy at it. So... it's just a dream for now.

I agree that sewing it one of the major things that you should know to do, and I have found everyone wants to learn. I probably should have learned from my grandmother when she offered it but I could never get into it. So I know like small stitches to repair things.
I actually really want to improve my duct tape crafts and drawing. It's one of the few creative passions I have up there with photography and filming. But definitely want to improve them.

I would definitely like to learn to sew too, and I'm trying to work on improving my crochet. I can do most intermediate things, and a few advanced ones, but I'd like to try some different techniques and such. I've also just started learning how to read Tarot cards, which uses a surprising amount of creativity. I'm hoping I can meet the challenge and find a few guinea pigs to try out some readings on. :)
I really want to learn how to write professionally. As in resumes and essays. I want to be maybe to persuade and have power.
like many here, I also want to improve my sewing skills. However, like I mentioned a bazillion times on almost every forum i go, i must wait until moving to France [which will happen soon enough]. It is pointless to spend money on a sewing machine at this point. For now i can only sew and stitch by hand, which is still better than nothing.
On a related note, knitting also seems like a fun pastime. I need to improve my speed and be more confident i can make pretty stuff.
I also want to develop my Tarot reading skills, and related to it, oracle reading. i volunteer as guinea pig for tarot reading [i can offer one in return if you'd like] XD
Web design is a skill i could actually use to make money, but it appears to be more complicated for my brain, for some reason. Coding a page seems a little less complicated.. I don't know, either one or both are skills I would also like to learn or develop..
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
Haha, sewing is definitely at the top of my list too. I can do basic stuff, like hemming, repairs and simple garments, but I'd love to get a serger and learn how to handle tricot and other knit fabrics.
Web design would be a nice skill to improve too. And digital art. I still can't wrap my head around proper shading techniques, godsdamnit!
Sewing - I would like to be able to make my own clothing at some point; Pottery, Coding Surfing, Boxing, Krav Maga Also I want to improve my Emotional Intelligence - I'm quite terrible at reading people's moods
I have to learn genomics for grad school. Also my programming skills need work. Python, Matlab, and R are the big three I'm concerned with ?_?

Knitting and (in the right way) digital painting which I'm going to learn in the few months we have left in this year (:
I'd love to learn how to play the violin... I already had some classes back them, but can't remember a thing! Hahaha Also wish to develop more my drawing abilities...

I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.
You should look in local magazine for art centers! I would love to throw on the pot, crochet, weave, and write better :)

There are two things I would really like to learn. First of them is to learn how to draw humans (I am already fairly good with animals), and second of them is to learn how to sew.
I'd love to learn how to cook. Seriously, I'm really bad at it :c
Yeah, someone told me about something like that here once, but now I can't find it. :/
I know it sounds weird, but if you have some extra time, watch some cooking shows. You'll get a better idea of how to do things as well as what works and can use that to change things up. Good Eats is a bit dorky, but it's a really good show that not only shows you recipes, but explains a lot of what is going on during cooking and why you should or shouldn't do certain things. Plus, a lot of the episodes are on YouTube. You can open an extra window with it and watch it on the side while you're doing stuff that doesn't require a lot of attention - I used to watch it while playing games on Flight Rising, for instance.
