I can teach you ^_^ I actually plan to enroll in culinary after grad.
There many things i'd like to learn or improve in. But I suppose learning to play the piano and/or violin is there too(I cannot play instruments in general).
I'd love to learn it from you <3 My mom knows how to play the piano, she's been doing that since she was 14 or 15 years old, so she knows it pretty well. I once tried to learn it too but I was too young and way not interested on it haha
But there are other things I'd like to learn (or improve) but those are more technical, not sure if it includes in this case.
Iiii actually hope to get a small torch and learn how to solder and ball ends of copper wire... maybe look into working with copper sheet metal, to boost my jewelry skillz a bit.
I need to get enough money for that first tho XD
I'd like to improve my drawing skills, as I'm absolutely horrendous at shading. I know how to position my light source and where the shadows should fall, but they always look wonky for some reason :(
Otherwise, I would absolutely love to learn how to sculpt. I see such amazing creations made out of clay and I just wish I could do it.
There are actually a ton of really amazing videos on youtube on learning how to knit. From the very basics to intricate stitches. Just remember that there are two very different ways to knit: "Picking" (also known as Continental, German, European, or left-handed style), and "Throwing" (also known as English, or right-hand style). You can learn either one, no matter your dominant hand, I prefer picking even though I'm right-handed, so if one style doesn't work for you, try the other ^^
There are also plenty of books, or if you're more of a people-person, a lot of craft stores have knitting (and sewing, and crochet, etc... ) classes either for free or a very modest price.
oh! i had no idea there are 2 styles. I know some basic stitches, and i can figure out how to use the yarns of different colors.. but more than that..
i'll go check out the videos. thanks!
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
I actually learned knitting right-handed to begin with but taught myself left-handed through videos because I liked how much quicker it was. In good news, most types of stitches still just use knits and purls but in various patterns, so once you know the basics it's quite easy to learn the more advanced stuff.
so after watching, i realized i know the left-handed style. the right handed looks so complicated o.o and to go even deeper, i prefer knitting the Russian way. i watched a few videos to get better informed, lol] Portuguese way also looks complicated.

I guess I'm learning things too because I've never heard of either of those styles. You're right though, Portuguese does look very complicated.
I'm really interested in making my own things. I know the basics of sewing, knitting, crochet, and even a bit of carpentry. I'd really like to learn how to make things completely from scratch, if that makes sense. I'd like to learn something like metalworking or silversmithing and make something from scrap metal. I'd also like to learn to make my own shoes.
i'd also like to learn how to make stuff from scratch, and i mean something that is not edible LOL speaking of cooking, i'd like to improve my artistic side, to make the food more visually appealing xD well, at least it tastes quite good if i can say so myself. ;p
and, with knitting, crocheting and sewing, one can actually make stuff from scratch - if we ignore the processes of yarn and fabric making.
making your own shoes? that doesnt sound like a bad thing to learn especially if you're someone who can't really find shoes. or has a hard time, like my partner and me..

Nevermind, I figured it out, lol. Might be able to sort of knit now, although I definitely suck at it still.
I'd really love to learn how to sew, too, mainly just to the extent of shortening a few of my dresses since I'm a bit short. I think it'd be really neat to pick up pottery one day and create just some dishes/bowls/etc. for personal use--I took a class last term but apparently suck big time with using my hands and didn't really end up with any I'd consider worth keeping ><
I'd really like to learn sewing, mostly for the purpose of learning how to construct fursuits. always been a passion of mine, i just lack the funds to take up the hobby. :<

Basic plumbing & electrical work, how to shoot a gun, how to whittle. I used to want to learn archery as well, but I lost interest after my teen years.
I've been trying to learn knitting and crocheting. I'm still working on basic stitches as I figure out what tension and materials work best for me. I'm a little further along with knitting, but I am definitely still a beginner. I'd also like to learn more about plumbing. Right now I know just enough to get myself in trouble basically... Just bits and pieces of how to make certain repairs.
Thing I've always wanted to try but haven't yet: I've always wanted to learn to sew on a sewing machine but I don't really have a place to set it up. It'd be nice to be able to make and repair my own clothing. I'd like to learn how to use power tools to do some simple carpentry. I've got some experience using hand tools but never power tools.
I would love to re-learn the guitar, and I would love to learn one of the deeper sounding violins (or hell even a cello ). I would also not mind learning how to make clothes so I had things that fit me right!
I would really love to get into 3D art- modeling and sculpting. I would also learn how to use FL Studio, and produce music. (But I have no idea where to start tbh lol)
I've just started to learn the basics of sign language. I'm now working at a school that specialises in supporting children with hearing difficulties and, although my personal responsibilities do not require me to use sign language, I think it'd be a useful skill to have and it's also very interesting!
I also want to learn how to play the guitar properly. I do own a guitar and I play other instruments, but learning how to play it is just one of those things I've been wanting to do for a long time and never seem to get round to it. As I'm already a musician it may be something I can teach myself (perhaps with the help of online tutorials!) plus both my parents play the guitar too so I'll have to ask them for advice too!
Anyway, there are tons of skills I certainly wish I had, but these two are probably the most feasible I can think of right now that I might actually acquire in the near future.
