[topic not found] there's only one post but the forum doesn't list an author, just the last poster wiped my customcss for a minute to see if that was the problem but it's blank either way; unsure if this is a browser issue, am on safari 10.1.1

Can confirm that it's not your browser - I'm on Chrome and seeing the same thing.
thanks for confirming it's not just me ;w;
yep, i'm seeing this as well. could it be that it was a very old thread that didn't make it over to the new forums, and a user somehow found it through google and posted on it? it's happened before.
that's an old thread probably found on google that has been cleared and someone posted on it. you can tell it's really old by the thread id - 480005 where as this thread is 876664
thank you both o: i didn't know that was possible, the thread id really should've been a clue lmao
Thank you for letting us know about it! I am just going to lock and move :D

thank you for the speedy response! i'm glad it ended up being no big deal haha
I actually have invisible/vanished threads among my subscribed topics and those were post-forum update. :/ ID ~800k.
I can't visit the thread, I can't see the first post (or the poster). If I try to visit it by ID, I get a "Oh No! You aren't allowed here!" message.
I'm guessing those were deleted by a UA, but it'd be nice if we were able to remove those topics from our subs list. I can't do anything with them, they're just sitting there.
Yeah most likely those were moved to one of the UA restricted forums. That'd be something good for Suggestions. Maybe can work on a fix for that or something
Cheers! I'll post it to the huge topic of usability and random improvements, hopefully Bug can tidy that up sometime in the future.
Do you guys think this might have something to do with the glitch where the first post on a topic shows up blank?
For instance, wrote a battle guide that has a disappeared first post, they've made a new version since but I was able to find the new one to show what I mean: A Guide to the World of Battling v2.1
(Hello METROID, I'm just pinging in case you have anything to share about this problem?)
They definitely have content written in that first post, but it shows up as blank. Maybe this is related?
And yeah... All of these problems are weird haha. Just to clarify, when I start tackling bugs here, I'm just as clueless as you as to why it is happening/how to fix it. And these particular forum bugs, well, I have a gut feeling that these might be more time-consuming :S

I don't think it's related. The not allowed here message gets thrown when the topic is in the css trashcan forun or whatever that one is called - the UA delete forum.
I don't know much about topic subscriptions since I don't subscribe to too many so I haven't experienced it, but it sounds like you can't unsubsribe to the thread because you can't access it anymore? Can you not unsubscribe froma thread on the subscription page?
Thanks for the ping! Yeah, it was the weirdest glitch. I'm not sure if it was because the thread was old or had outdated coding; or if I ended up going over the character limit since I had the guide all in a single post.
I don't think the "invisible post" glitch is related to this new issue with subscribed threads not being removable. Could just be an oversight in the coding that needs a quick patchjob.

I don't think it's related? Then again, Subeta's coding is a big ol' tangled ball of yarn. That had new bits of yarn tied to it in hope of improving things. :'D Don't know if you've poked at the code any, but I tried removing the threads from my subscriptions list just now and it worked fine, so... :| I have no idea any more. Maybe the planets needed to align just right for it to work, or you worked your bug-magic.
I'll provide the blank topic IDs from my subs list below, hopefully that helps some? They can't be accessed by regular users so I see no harm in it if it helps you untangle this.

Thanks everyone for the info! Yeah, it probably isn't related then.
I think it was the planets aligning, cuz I've been asleep!
But, you said you were able to unsubscribe successfully? Cuz now I'm confused if I need to fix anything, it sounds like it fixed itself... :o
