I think every book lover has a pile of books set aside to read. I personally have an assortment of paperbacks, ebooks, AND audiobooks because there's TOO MANY WAYS TO READ THESE DAYS

Currently in my pile:

Paperbacks Lady Cop Makes Trouble by Amy Stewart Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Ebooks The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Saenz To Have Loved and Lost by Eliza Andrews Simon vs. the Homo Sapience Agenda Ruby Fruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown

Audiobooks Family of Lies: Sebastian by Sam Argent A Knight to Remember by Bridget Essex The Well of Lonliness by Radclyffe Hall We Are Okay by Nina LaCour Necroscope by Brian Lumley and honestly way too many more to list I have an audiobook hoarding problem

What's in your pile?

Paperback: Knight's Shadow by Sebastien De Castell Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames Theft of Swords by Michael J Sullivan Rise of Empire by Michael J Sullivan Writing Your Novel From Start to Finish by Joseph Bates

Hardcover Prince of Fools by Mark Lawrence

I also have 2 more books in a series I am just waiting to arrive in the mail. So much to read and I am dreadfully slow at it.

Just took an inventory and found out I have 43 books in my to-read pile, some dating back ten years. So, I'll admit, I'm a bit of a slacker. I'm reading two books atm, so it'll probably be a bit before the next one is released from limbo, but likeliest candidates as of right now are:

Go Tell It on the Mountain, James Baldwin Just and Unjust Wars, Michael Walzer The Trial, Franz Kafka The Art of War, Sun Tzu Paradise Lost, John Milton

The only thing currently on my list is called The Hidden Life Of Trees, which i am receiving in the mail shortly.

Eventually i would enjoy reading the Lord of The Rings audio books.

My to read list is over 100 books long. Thank goodness for Goodreads to keep it all straight. I'm working on rereading the Series of Unfortunate Events books, but the first few new books on my list are as follows:

Whose Body? by Dorothy Sayers The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne Valente The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart

I'll never reach the end of my list. :) Thank goodness I live near a library.

  • Unhooked by Lisa Maxwell
  • Tigerheart by Peter David
  • Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman (re-read, because I love it!)
  • Escape From Asylum by Madeleine Roux

The Soul of Rumi: A New Collection of Ecstatic Poems - Always have to have my poetry fix <3

The Gene: An Intimate History by Siddhartha Mukherjee - I was looking around for good nonfics and this one popped up. Let me know if you guys have any nonfiction recs please :D

The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander - I've read excerpts from this book in two different uni classes and I've heard other students talk about it so I figure might as well read the whole thing.

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson - I've seen people in my city carrying around this huge tome from time to time, its crazy.

Bluets by Maggie Nelson - I think she write love letters about the color blue

The Pale King by David Foster Wallace - I finished Infinite Jest so this seemed like the most logical next step lol
