Hello everyone! I like making HAs, particularly following certain themes, to fit certain items, that sort of thing. To that end I've decided to make this thread. It's just for fun, but if you're having trouble coming up with something for a certain idea, or love an item but don't know what to pair with it, give me a ping and I'll do my best to make something nice for you! (If you're working within a budget, please let me know that too.)

About my style: I tend to design on the "cluttered" end of the spectrum, though I can definitely tune it down if you like a more simple style. I like to use a mix of expensive and cheap items, or mix cheap items in interesting ways, to make them look perhaps more expensive. I'm very picky about color matching, and always want shades to be very similar. I'm also against using items from sets together; I think of using sets sort of as cheating, since they were meant to look nice together, so I prefer to mix things that weren't necessarily intended to be mixed.

So, I was messing around in the wardrobe and found some haircut made out of different wigs that i really like. The problem is I simply can't come up with a good outfit for it and would love some outside input. Outfit Not Found Just FYI you can add anything on top or underneath the HA you like, however I would like you to leave the items on there already alone.

Oh, what a cool idea! Let me see if I can come up with some ideas to work with it.

With the excellent help from you and some financial compromise (no real money, don't worry) on my part I managed to piece together this outfit Outfit Not Found I will keep it saved in my wardrobe a little while longer until i get bored of my current outfit. Hey there! Still doing these? I do need help! I really want a nice theme to go with my current avatar's hair (Replica Dragonfly). An outfit that's not super expensive would be better but I'm fine with whatever you can think of!

It's a pretty difficult item to work with, it sort of requires a particular look or color scheme. I also wasn't sure at all what kind of feel you were going for! D: I tried to make a few with very different feels. :> Hopefully these can give you some ideas!

phew Keeping things cheap was a harder request than I expected it to be. >.< I suppose I have expensive Subeta tastes... Anyways! I tried to keep each individual item under 1 mil, since I wasn't sure how cheap you wanted things to be. I think there were a couple that were a bit over, particularly in the face department. Again, since I didn't really know what look you were going for, I tried to get very different feels for the different outfits so that hopefully at least one would inspire you. If there's a particular style you preferred, I don't mind trying to make a couple more. Regardless, hope you enjoy. ^-^

Ooh, yeah that's definitely the most "Adventure"-y one. Now that I know the feel you're going for I'll make a couple more. Is the 1 mil per item price cap the right idea, or would it be okay to cap them at 5 mil or so?

EDIT: I went ahead with the 5 mil per item cap, but even with that, while restricted to the "adventure" theme I had a lot of trouble shade matching. X( Sorry about that. I tried to come up with some cool designs regardless.

Thanks for the suggestions, I mostly tried black and white, as colours that match almost anything (and I don't really have that much green in my wardrobe). And sure, you can do some HAs if you want to :)

Really? I was trying to come up with an outfit after all this cyber punk-ish stuff got introduced before Masq. I was digging through my wardrobe for a wig to go with it and found the Incomplete Bird of Paradise Carving, that I had never used before since I didn't know how to use this wig :D
