No problem! I don't really think it's anything special, I just look for icons with similar color schemes, or maybe search for specific words that I think would fit the theme. I just play around with stuff until I find something I like.

Well, I can't really comment, since I just love tying in colors, and you've mostly not used any green except for the flowers and stuff. I do like the 4th, though. :D

I don't have that much green stuff in my wardrobe for tying in (mostly green recolours of shirts, socks, etc.), but I do try to do this as well sometimes (my current HA). Yeah, I created those HAs in the order I listed them and the 4th was a result from "Stop trying with a mermaid, I'll go for a witch instead" 😇

I was thinking about your post, and as I was mulling on it I thought "it would probably be possible to create a decent mermaid outfit with pretty cheap items, actually" so I gave it a try. Here's what I came up with: Private Outfit Other than the , every item is less than 1 mil (I think), and obviously you could change up the background items, I just really like that one. :X If you wanted to spring for something a bit more expensive, fits the color scheme much better, but it's more like 5 mil, while the is super cheap. You could also pretty easily convert this to a more "beautiful" mermaid if you wanted to. I personally prefer a bit of a pretty/creepy mix, but you could definitely go either way with this base by adding or subtracting one or two things. Since you didn't have many green items in your wardrobe, I thought you could do this outfit without putting much money into it at all. I can tweak it for you if you like as well, just let me know. ;)

Are you still helping people out with these? I always struggle with making HAs. I will come up with a couple items I like together but then can't seem to flush it out or make it look good.

Just doesn't seem right. I was originally aiming for something dark and purple and decorated. I particularly like items like [Item=Delish Gentle Horns]

Another item I am dying to make a HA for is the [Item=Overgrown Ram Skull]

Alrighty! Yes, I am absolutely still doing this, there just hasn't been a whole lot of interest lately, sadly. Tada! I tried to do a mix of creepy/elegant/monstrous looks. I ended up using a lot of Delish items, as always. I can definitely work more with a particular design, if there's one you like but feel needs to be tweaked. In the meantime, let me know if any of these strike your fancy. <3

WOW. I really love them so much! I admire your patience and eye for the outfits. They look fantastic and I LOVE the dark/creepy/elegant look. I took a lot of inspiration from what you did and threw something together. I would have preferred to use the Delish horns and sheep ears but I worked with my current budget. I think I'm splurging on those horns next!

I'd love to come to you for advice more often! Also, what do you think about this outfit? Anything you suggest changing?

Like what you did with the eyes! Not a fan of that mouth though, it's too red and covers a lot of the face. Maybe as an alternative? It's still super creepy, but it doesn't break the bank. ;) And maybe throw on some as well? I might be biased since I just really like that item though, haha.

That skirt/dress does work better with the gown than the goat hooves though. :P If you want more stuff in the future, you can specify price range (of individual items or the whole outfit or whatever).

I LOVE those earrings!! Definitely threw them on. And I agree about the mouth...but When I went to switch the mouth I sort of liked the overlap between the two...I sort of liked the result...

I super love this new avatar too! I played with it a bit and I loved it when I changed the skin to a matching grey. I absolutely love love love snake body-type HAs. Gorgeous!

I also really enjoy not having a budget for HAs. It gives me something to work towards getting. ;)

What sort of HA would you make with the [Item=Overgrown Ram Skull] ? Disregarding my love of purple and creep, I really love the item and have NEVER been able to put it with anything else...

I finished four designs inspired by the GW2 Mesmer look. I did two male and two female. Would you be able to help me create a human avatar based around the item Ember Locks? Always been one of my favorite wigs in the game, but I'm bad at creating whole looks. I'm not really sure what other information you need. I'm a guy and would be okay with you creating it either male or female.

Hooray, a person! Technically, that's all the information you need to give me, but you'll be more likely to get something you want if you drop some keywords, like colors, styles, themes, etc. Also, if given the option, I tend to default to female, since there's a lot more feminine clothes in the Subeta catalog, but I'll try to throw in some guys as well. :> I'll throw together a couple ideas in the meantime.

Ahhh I'm so glad you responded, I noticed it had been quite a while since someone had posted so didn't know if you were still doing it ^^; I really like simpler avatars, not a HUGE fan of back grounds but you might be able to change my mind. Yep I get that a lot, but I'll always do this. :P It's just that there isn't always people here looking for stuff. I try to include backgrounds in my designs, but the idea is that you can always leave stuff out. (Just making sure that if the person does want a backdrop that I find something that vaguely matches, haha.) Anyways, here's the first couple ideas I came up with.
