Hello! And welcome to the latest Style File contest, celebrating six months of successful Stimulate Your Style challenges! In a twist to our usual challenges we are asking you, for this contest, to take inspiration from some of the most beloved avatars to be born from these weekly events. We have selected five of the top adored avatars from the past six months and want you to re-imagine and redesign one of these fabulous creations.

We are asking you to take one of these five avatars and recreate them with your own flair. Be respectful of the original creations! We do not want to see exact copies. Rather, we want you to carry the essence of your chosen avatar in your own attempts. You can use similar items, colour schemes, silhouettes to inspire your attempts - while unique, the source should be clear at a glance.
The Rules: • The contest will close on Tuesday 18th April at 11:59PM. • We require you to make at least one avatar, based on a single avatar listed above. • You are, however, welcome to join in by emulating each avatar, sharing your creations on the thread and on Style File. Please submit a single, new post clearly featuring all your submitted avatars for judging. • Please ping me when you pick your final selection, so I can keep track of everyone's entries. It might also be useful to write a small blurb that details how you've drawn your inspiration so we fully understand your perspective. • Tag your avatars with 'simulate their style' so it's easy to share your creativity with fellow fashionistas! • All users are welcome to participate,, whether members of Style File or not! • You must be able to wear your human avatars! Generated avatars are not allowed. If you're looking for spare items to complete an outfit, please remember to join our Lending & Borrowing group, ! There are a lot of large wardrobes waiting to help you out. :) • Custom wearables are allowed for this contest! Again, you must own or borrow these items. Generated avatars are not allowed.
The Judging & Prizes: Successful avatars will strike a balance between inspiration and unique interpretation. Judging is not simply based on the adores on Style File, but the tying together of the overall aesthetic with creativity, cohesiveness and colour matching. Alongside a grand winner, we will highlight one avatar from each inspiration which we collectively love.
The overall winner will get the chance to pick out a Custom Wearable from the Style File Shop. Special mentions will each receive 5,000,000sP in wishlist items. All participants will receive a Subeautique Invitation for participating.

Furthermore, if you'd like to identify a specific item from these avatars, to aid your attempt, feel free to ask on this thread! I have a pretty sturdy knowledge of items so should be able to help solve your quandaries.

Yay I'm so happy to see y'all excited about this one! I thought it'd be a fun way to celebrate the creativity the challenges inspire, and, in turn, challenge you to get creative. :D I'm not sure which one I want to tackle first hmmmm!
I was inspired by lovely avatar, but with the added twist of of making her look like a nebula. I'd never attempted a sheer+layering avatar before so this was lots of fun!

I was inspired by 's avatar but wanted to use a different color scheme and theme. I used the Enthusiastic Hair and the Curious Little Aeronwy Doll that they used and also drew a few other similarities. Like, for example, the dainty eyes, hair adornment, draping scarves, and long legs with small shoes. But I went in a direction that was completely my own and I'm really happy with it!

I am so honored that one of my avatars was so adored that it was chosen for this challenge! And I am so happy to see it inspire other users, such as 's lovely entry! This is a wonderful challenge!
I also decided to simulate 's amazing gradient HA! I have wanted to do something similar since I first saw it, but I could not seem to manage it. But this time, I like my result. :3
I love the original, but decided to give my version a little more of a 'messy' look using more colors like pink, purple, and green with the blue. :) I also wanted it to have that "creature" vibe, so I used claws and scales to make it look like a serpent.
I made two (so far, lol).... if anyone wants to tell me which one I should enter, please do so... I'm so bad at decisions D:

Disclaimer: I haven't managed to RS the black veil yet and no way I'm paying those super inflated prices for it, so unless someone has one I can borrow or I can RS it before the contest ends, I might just have to go with the other one anyway... lol EDIT: LOL I just managed to RS one.
i absolutely love this contest, and all the entries i've seen for it so far are gorgeous!! i have an avatar of my own in the works for it, so i'll be sure to post here again when it's done! c:
