I wanted to make a ringmaster but she ended up looking more like a showgirl lol. I wanted to keep the cane and the hat idea from the original, as well as the silhouette that flairs out at the waist with the legs/arms visible! I decided to change up the color to red/gold, but also gave it a bit of a warmer feeling overall in contrast the original that was a bit more dark and mysterious.
Man, I've been fiddling with this for ages.
Private Outfit
Okay, this one is based off of 's. I picked a different lamp as my color source, which turned out to be a difficult color to work with. I kept some of the same demoness details - the eyes, horns (even though mine are more prominent), and tail. Also some of the same silhouette - heavy on the shoulder/head. The lowerback looked cluttered with a big item since the lamp is lower than the gourd witch lamps, so I didn't force it. But where Hero used the lamp color as an accent, I let it become my main color and used the brown/black as my accent. This actually worked better - as then the head/shoulder area were in the same color family, just like with Hero's.
I was inspired by HERO's design. I moved away from the green colour scheme and instead just kept the colours dark. I saw the green lantern staff as chance to be inspired to use my Garnet Capricorn Staff. Outfit Not Found

look was my inspiration. I was inspired to create a regal look with a fantasy flair. The hair style, large wrap and hair adornment as well as eye item choice were made with keeping my inspiration in mind. I went into making this inspired look with a hope of using shorts as well but feel like the long skirt is more my style. The colour choices in the original are done with such care and I hope mine reflects that as well. Thank you for the challenge!

This one was the hardest for me, since there's so much going on in the original. There's layers, and glowy things, and flowy things, and sheer stuff... it was hard to decide where to start/what to focus on in my reinterpretation! I think I ended up getting all of them? I started with the wings because they gave the same sort of shape/sillhoutte as the original glowing fabric thing. There's the glowy bits with the waist belt thing and the earring as well as the eyes/stockings a bit. There's actually also a lot of layers on this, but I feel like it's hard to tell so... I guess that means I did a good job lol? On the body, she's wearing a dress, shirt, and skirt! Also I'm particularly proud of the hair salon hair I used to help fill/balance out the wig a bit, and my improvisation to fill in the gold fabric between her legs.
I'll probably make a compilation post with all my entries a bit later.

I was drawn to the colors and the fine details. I wish I could have figured out how to put more details in the leg layers. Working with yellow is usually difficult for me because I tend to gravitate toward cooler colors but I really liked the contrasting colors.

Ok. I have to admit, after the one I did simulating I had trouble getting my creative juices flowing. IT WAS HARD.

Well, this was really hard. and I think I messed it up with the blue party popper. but I was trying to get the "water/ice" more pronounced. You see just the touches of green/gold/earth through the cloud layer. grin. any way, I tried for EARTH, since did Saturn.

I did one of each. The first being based on @/Coraline I wanted a similar, alice in wonderland, hatter type of vibe. (Which is where my mind first went after seeing the Ha) I fell for the hat I used as soon as I saw it during masq and I had to use it in place of the smaller hat she uses (plus I don't have that hat and didn't feel up to borrowing/buying,) so I changed the color scheme a bit, using blues and white rather than blue and gold, I tried to keep a flowing effect using the skirt, because the shirt has that effect and it adds an elegant touch to the original outfit. All in all, I really like how she turned out. (especially with how much I was stressing over whether or not I had clothes that would go along with this Ha.) Private Outfit The second is based on @/Maeow When I was creating this Ha I tried to imagine, since I wanted a cuter effect with a similar feel, what the little sister of this Ha might look like. I used some of the same clothing and kept the blue monstrous look, keeping the same type of eyes, but with a color (and some layering) that made them look sweet rather than threatening. Private Outfit My third follows @/luvotomy's elven looking Ha. I kept the color scheme, and attempted to recreate the ethereal feel she used in her Ha. She looks like a mythical being so I headed in that direction with this Ha. Private Outfit The fourth Ha I made is based on @/HERO's Ha. When I see this I see a demon, but its also very elegant and floral. So I went in a similar direction, A demon with flowers. So, since I was lacking in green items, I used another striking color, a bright red! I tried to get a creature that looks devilish but beautiful. Private Outfit Finally my Ha based on @/Lexx's Ha. I tried to go for a Saheric feel but with a pastel color scheme rather than the one she used. I enjoyed making her and she was the first one I actually made for this competition so she is the least attractive of the bunch but I'm still happy with how she turned out. Private Outfit

Inspired by HERO's HA
I kept the green/black theme though my green is more muted/natural and less neon/nuclear, and borrowed a few items, such as the eyes, staff, and wings. I originally thought HERO was using some kind of cloak, but I realized that it was actually a wings CW I own as well! So I decided to incorporate that and build off the concept of the wings = cloak and made mine into a feathered cloak using some additional items and layering. I wanted to keep with the elegant but vaguely demonic vibe, so I did my best to make it sinister but regal. I also originally wasn't going to use the staff (it covers up so many of my careful details, rip), but I only owned the yellow one and while I was testing, I really liked how the yellow glow tied the gold trim on the skirt into the overall HA as well. I also originally used different eyes, but the rotten lenses are so striking and creepy I had to use them.Outfit Not Found

I saw theirs was named "aquaphobia" so I took the "aqua" part an ran with it! She's like a deep-sea creature (she's even blind and has a "bioluminescent" earring)! I used the claws and a recolor of the eyes from the original. Before, I didn't even think about attempting it, because everyone else's looks so good and it looked difficult to make all the layers blend nicely. But I think it turned out well and it wasn't as hard as I thought! Anyway, I figured the point was to challenge myself, so I should at least give it a shot lol. This is my first HA where I used all 30 layers! (Though I've come close before)Inspired by lexx's HA
So I actually put a ton of thought into this one! I wanted to make another planet, and picked Uranus since no one had done it yet, and it has some really beautiful false color images which incorporate purple and pink into the typically blue planet. I was also reading about it, and saw that it's unusual compared to other planets because it's orbit is perpendicular to the sun, and therefore it's rings are "sideways", which is why I decided to include the lunar cloth, because the loops match how the rings appear on Uranus. Additionally, I wanted to maintain some aspects of 's original, so I used the new year's baby wrap to match the over-the-shoulder thing she has going on, as well as the braided hair loops and beaded hairpiece, though I used a different wig.Outfit Not Found

Okay, so this is based off of 's style. Like hers, I let the hat drive the general tone. Other details I tried to keep were the leg details, cane, poofy skirt silhouette, and the straight hair. I opted for a style that allowed more of the chest to show, since the details there tie in with the hat the most. In the end, it's a little less ringmaster, and a little more "ready for a stroll in the park" but there are echoes of the style.
<p>my god this kicked my asS!!!!!!! i wanted to keep the green but with a softer palette. wanted to keep "weird eyes" as well. went for more <del>odd pretty</del>(??? because its not that odd) but this was definitely one of the harder ones! tbh im still not happy but that deadline tho------------
