I have a few suggestions for improvement of Pandemic, and if you have an idea or a better way to go about my own idea, please share! I'll add it to the OP.

1. To have a quick buff like Quick Feet for Masquerade. My name suggestion is Kissing Fever, I'll take other ideas and list them.

2. Kissing times (and possibly dancing times for Masq, if this isn't implemented there already) to be to the individual person as opposed to collectively. A suggestion made on the SB to balance this out is to have a chance of not getting hearts at all.

3. Kiss back link to reciprocate when you receive an event of a user kissing you.

4. Item that stops the strain so you can keep your HA with an earlier strain.

5. Cut down waiting times on earlier strains.

Zombie hunters for a plot. Those that arent infected could somehow fight with those that are zombies.

While I'm glad to know that a 3 day timer is the max, it would be nice to cut down on the waiting timer of at lest strains before 2014. While it makes sense it's to permote participation to get strains faster, for "rare" strains that aren't as popular like Faceworms, Heartburn, Baker's Kiss this comes back and bites (forgive the pun) the concept in the foot and makes those that want those strains either feel left out in the excitement or give up, which does nothing to help increase those strain's numbers to make the timer a nonissue.

I commited myself to wait 3 days for Heartburn but not everyone has that patience.

1. I'd support this. I keep getting 10 minute timers, and it's really slow getting just 1-3 candy hearts.

2. Seems like a good idea, but will be difficult on Subeta's side They have to keep track of individuals for each individual. That gets complicated to store and process. An easier way to implement this is to have each person only claimable once until the timer expires, but that would lead to a kiss rush and a bit of disappointment.

3. I always wanted a link on the event, so I don't have to search for the user ID when it's not easy to kiss them.

I would love something like this. Dissolving Stage 4 is something which I would have used for an HA after Survival. The way it's going in later stages, though, means I'll just remove the skin when completed and never bother with it again.

I would love a kiss back link on the event. I've been trying to kiss back by site searching the user and looking at their post history, but it's not always possible. Then finding a link gets tricky.

maybe I don't understand this but I really don't want the chance of not getting any hearts at all? I already have to wait ~10 minutes sometimes between kisses so.. wait 10 minutes, get nothing, wait 10 minutes, get nothing... Sounds like a kick in a teeth to me. I only ever kiss the same person constantly.

Random but I wish for events like this there would be a minimum post count for kiss, flower, whatever, boards before making a new one. I know this could never be enforced, but it just gets confusing when there are so many different kiss, etc. boards.

Aside from that I wish there was a new plot.

Candy Hearts get quite cheap at the end of Survival, a buff would be fun but is unnecessary.

Different computer/browser combinations result in lag for some folks earlier than others. I disagree with the minimum post limit.

Zombification is not fashion, it's a lifestyle. Therefore, no 'intermediate' strains just because they're pretty. It's disrespectful to the unliving. Same response to the strain stopper. You did not make a mistake.

Maybe since the VIP program has sP-sinky features, you spend twenty million for a visit to a contamination chamber which will get you a speedup? Other than that, no. Because coming back next year to get the skin you missed before should be a thing, to get folks to keep on participating in the holiday.

Nope it's a fashion. A life style would be us getting random ones that we have to live with. Picking out the one you want and switching skins when you choose? Thats a fashion.

That's great if you want to get hardcore into the lore and RP of Subeta, but a lot of people are here for the huge amounts of customization on avatars. Skins are a big part of that, so they are most definitely fashion. :P

I don't really understand this. Would you just load a forum thread and quickly run down the page, kissing everyone you see with no wait time until you run out of names? That sound tedious for players and probably stressful for the servers.

I'd love a kiss-back link on alerts though. Or at least have the username be hoverable, because most people have the kiss link in their status.

Yes, yes I would. No but seriously, I was making this more for contest people in mind, as I'm sure it's rather tedious to attempt to keep up with kiss backs. It crops up with every fifty people that appear for larger and more popular contests and it seems like a good way to help everyone stress less about getting candy hearts within the season's time limit, especially those who are busy but collect.

I just want events to be a fun, relaxing time and trying to remember to kiss again so I can get enough hearts for the achievements is causing me stress. For no reason other than I put it on myself, but I digress.

A kiss back link would be wonderful.

My strategy for kiss backs atm is updating my on-site notepad to include the kiss=user sCode for that person. That way I always have it available on any page while I'm catching up on kisses plus I can add as many people as I want for pending kisses. In notepad I can even make note of how many I want to return so that I can keep my events cleaned up.

A quick buff for kissing (and dancing, too) would be great if obtained randomly, like the Main Shop Discount buff :3 And "Kissing Fever" is a great name! I don't like the individual time thingy (for the reasons mentioned), but I'd love to have a "kiss back" link.

For the zombie skins: I don't think it would be dramatic lore-wise if we could stop the strains from progressing. There could be a doctor who tries the strains from progressing (he doesn't have to be pro-zombie!) but he fails, and the unliving use the otherwise useless medication for nonpermanently changing the state of the strain (like grown-ups who dress up like teens?). If that's possible, this could also work as a immense sP sink :D

I love almost all of these!I think an individual kiss timer would cause a lot of site lag, but other than that, I love it! I think instead of stopping the strain, though, we should go with having past stages available through Rachelle (as mentioned in another thread). That way people can play with any stage they like, provided they have the sP to pay for it!

I'm especially in favor of a Kissing Fever buff. Gives people even more incentive to kiss for the chance to get that buff!

• Kiss-back links would be a lovely touch.

• Kiss-buffs to shorten the time between, very happy with that.

• We have our Mad Doctor, Rachelle; to add support to the 'wearable in-between stages of the viruses' please see here. I think it's a great idea, and as Rachelle already does zombie/freaky/mutant body parts, quite in-keeping with site lore! ( this might interest you!)

• I do NOT want anything with a zero chance of candy. I have rubbish luck (# nevermadeitthroughthecrypts) and would get mighty frustrated with zero after zero.

• For new/unpopular strains it can be hard to get the infection started quickly. Confucius (who is pretty much the VIP's version of Hustler) could offer 'injections', 'boosters' or similar. They would work like bites, only every X minutes and would take X jabs to work.
  Or something along those lines.

Definitely a kissing fever buff, like Quick Feet for Masq.

I'd also like maybe a speed increase for strain progression for those of us who are impatient and want time to get at least one more strain before Pandemic is over.

I also like 's idea for a plot. :D As well as increased wait time for older strains.

I disagree with keeping early strain stages...it kinda seems like missing the point. And as much as I'd love an individual user kiss time limit, it's just too complex, and I just can't see it working.

I didn't mention the idea for a plot it was Acidtongue, and I wanted a decreased wait time ( pretty much on line with your suggestion) for older strains if we don't get bites ( had to wait 3 days for Heartburn so it's going to be kinda close for me to fit the third strain in) unless I read the increase/decrease wrong x_x

Though allowing people to bite with a unlocked skin while progressing on a strain this year solves the wait time issue for all but the rarest strains roughly ( had to help alot of people with The Baker and Faceworms as I was normally the only biter with those strains on when pinged)
