I'm all for a kissing buff, not so much the rest of it though.

Older strains are hard enough to find bites for and if you don't find someone to bite you then it takes 3 days to get the first signs of infection, why would they increase the wait time for them. That makes no sense to me considering 72 hours is way more than enough waiting.

Wait times for older strains really do need to be cut down, especially if Survival is going to keep getting shorter. We didn't even get two weeks this year. With so many virus strains the wait time really shouldn't be above 24 hours imo. There's no actual incentive for biting either, which doesn't help.

Personally I keep biting even though I have the achievement, just because I like helping. So I hope something like that would be retroactive, for my sake, lol.

I know but even then one achievement isn't that big of an incentive anyways. There's nothing that really makes it worth giving up unlocking strains, like getting candy hearts or flowers or something.

This is true. I actually like doing it but I would be lying if I said it wasn't stressful to be biting 8 people at once. A lot of people like the zombie part and yet biters always seem scarce save for the lull between infections and then you're stuck waiting forever to be infected.

And waiting three days for infections is ridiculous. Watching your strain progress is very much part of what people find fun. When it takes too long, it can certainly suck the fun out of the event. I've seen more than one person immediately regret their strain choice due to a lack of biters/progress and that's shouldn't be a thing.

Oooh! Now that's an idea, after reading those above posts: New tiers for Biter achievements! That should help get people to bite more!

I once asked Amber about it before Survival and she said yo think about the Survival achievements, but we got wasn't the biter one. I mean, I would love it, especially if it was retroactive, but I'm not sure if anything will happen.

How about increasing the speed of infection progressions as Pandemic comes to a close, to make it easier for one final strain before it ends? I'm sure a lot would appreciate that, especially with how short Pandemic was this year (we have come to expect 2 weeks for Pandemic), and also with how incredibly SLOW the strains are.

I'm all up for a kiss buff (the normal wait time feels quite long compared to the other years) a new biter achievement tier could be okay but not necessarily needed.

What I'd like for the next survival is a similar system to ToTing a random house last year as I find it pretty difficult to kiss on the forums and a busy work-life. I don't mind the waiting time being as long as normal kissing unlike the ToTing last years.

I would love a kiss link in the event notice. Yeah, I use the notepad, but it can be hard to keep track while waiting to bite the next one.

I would also love added tiers to the biting achievement. I've been biting a lot this year, just because I like helping people get the infections they want and would like to see more biters hanging around to help.

A kissing buff would be nice, but not necessary.

Would prefer a biting buff though!
