Wasn't sure which category to post this topic - my apologies if this isn't the correct one!

I have a few pets with fairly large treasure chests, including one who's nearly at 500 slots. The problem, though, is how incredible fickle I am. I like to organize the treasures in specific ways, which for bigger TCs requires a lot of dragging and hoping for my mouse to cooperate long enough, but the worst part is when I decide to redo a pet's TC to match whatever character changes I have in mind; individually clicking to remove hundreds and hundreds of items from the treasure chest takes up a good chunk of time. D:

I know I'm not the only user with some sizable pet treasures, and so I think it would be really nice if there were faster and easier ways to get through our TCs. Having checkboxes like we do for wishlists and shops would be an enormous help in its own, especially if there were a "Check All" option - very handy for pets that are about to be transferred or abandoned!

Please, please, please. TCs are a disaster and have been for so long. Adding items and organizing them is so much work!

My biggest TC is 1505 (filled to about 1490 right now) and its literally impossible to organize anymore. I mean, over all my pets I have 6099 TC slots total. Its gotten to the point with the bigger ones (600+) that I have just had to give up on organization. The drag-and-drop one-at-a-time method is terrible. Anything to help that would be amazing.

There's so much cool stuff than can be done with TCs but as they get bigger it gets harder, which double sucks because some types of stuff works best with a massive TC! Treasures are such a unique feature, especially our freedom with them. I'd love to see them improved.

You can actually mass remove if you don't have "enter pin to remove TC items" enabled and have a browser addon like Snaplinks. Its still slow and a major pain, especially if you want to do it with large treasure, but it can help make it go by a little quicker.

Oh wow, thanks for the mass-removal tip! And yeah, I don't even have nearly as big a TC as your highest count so I can only imagine the difficulty there! I agree about how great the whole feature is, it gives even better insight to the pets' characters and it gives more purpose to items that otherwise have no function. I love seeing nice treasures, I love gathering things for my pets' treasures, but I just haven't felt much motivation for doing the actual work of it all after hitting ~480 slots.

You're welcome! I can only really do it with about 5 or 6 items at a time to keep up with closing tabs in time (it can turn into a laggy mess with a 500+ TC loading in a bunch of tabs at once) but still, its way better than 1 at a time!

I injured my wrists a few years ago so at this point I doubt I could ever organize another giant TC from scratch. It totally sucks because TCs are the main thing I enjoy on Subeta.

I'm all for anything that would make organising TCs easier (even if there was just an option for alphabetical order, and a way of showing the item names on the page (I'm pretty sure Ambessa has duplicate items, but the item images look so similar, I can't be certain!) for starters), and definitely in favour of checkboxes for mass removal :D

That's a really good point too! Item names would definitely help. Perhaps we could also have an option to see all of the TC items without the images, too? Would load faster and be much easier to organize, I think.

It's kind of tricky for me to think of ways to manually organize them without the click-and-drag thing we currently have, but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm running on only 10 minutes of sleep here haha. The only things I can think of are the aforementioned names-only view of organizing and maybe a way to make "categories" within the TC. Which I will try my best to explain in this loopy state of mind. x)

I'll use my pet Faskel as an example. His TC used to be focused on three things: dogs, ice cream, and candy. I never mixed items of different "themes" together -instead, I had all of the dog items at the beginning, then after the dog items would be the ice cream, and then the items after the ice cream were all candy. If I added a new candy item to his TC, I would have to drag it from the top all the way down past wherever my ice cream items would end. What if, instead, we could have those sections already grouped together? Like if you're using folders and layers in photoshop? If the dog "folder" is "closed" and so is the ice cream "folder", all I would have to do is pass 2 things rather than every individual "layer" of each folder. Then when I reached the candy section, it would be an expandable folder with each item in the candy group acting like a layer, and would be able to be sorted out individually.

...I really, really hope that makes some sort of sense, because I have no other way to explain it. OTL Once I get some sleep I will try to provide visuals to go along with that terrible description.

So first, you have your categories of treasures here. The categories don't necessarily have to be something visible on the pet's actual profile, just something easier for organizational purposes - like the number of items per row when organizing! Here are my 3 categories: Dog items, Ice Cream items, and Candy items

Within each category/folder, there are items that I've sorted into it. As an example here we have 3 different dog-related items, each organized within the category.

Currently, when you go to add a new item to a TC, it shows up at the very top and you have to drag it downwards if you don't want it there. In this example, we've just added a new Candy-related item that we want to put into the corresponding category.

Now, instead of dragging past every single item in the Dog and Ice Cream categories, we can collapse the categories into one unit each, and only have to drag past the folders as a whole.

Bam! It's in the Candy category now, and we decided to arrange it so it's inbetween the Jawbreakers and the Candy Buttons.

Another organization option (instead of drag/drop) - be able to assign numbers that would then sort the choices numerically from the top down?

Organizing Dean's TC is a joke and a half and not something I actually do for the most part anymore.

Yes please. Right now it's a drag if you want to change the TC of a pet. A simple ' delete all' button is great.

I'm in support of this idea! Maybe place it under the "transfer slots from other pets" button? ;)

BUT I think the "delete all" should move all the items to the Vault and not to the inventory because then it's another mess (can you imagine 1k+ of items there?)

Oh please please pleeeease can we get another way to organize TCs besides drag & drop?

Neopets has the method mentioned, for their user galleries. Each item is numbered from first to last based on the order you want them to appear. You can change or swap the numbers to move an item around. It's a bit tedious but it does work pretty well. Plus these days a lot of users are mostly/only accessing Subeta on mobile and the drag & drop simply does not work on large TCs on a touchscreen.

My computer died back in December and I'm on a tablet now. I can't really do anything with TCs anymore except add to them. It's a bummer because TCs are typically the biggest part of my pet profiles and my favorite thing to work on. Now that I can't work with them, I don't do much with my pets at all.

I would love to see this! None of my pets are at the numbers mentioned here -- but once you get over 100 it does start to become a chore! I'd also like to be able to see item names. I have trouble seeing slight color variations and that makes a difference when I'm trying to sort things in the TC.

I am adding my voice to this. Yes please! Now I am getting into organizing TC's and they are getting even larger, it would greatly help just something, anything to adjust them.

YES omg your example (visual folders stuffs) would be AMAZING.

my suggestions/ideas:

• give us a button/option to sort by item ID/rarity/timeline/name!
• "save as custom" order for playing around, like you can for the pet page order
• very unlikely this is possible, but... anchoring groups of items together to move (like in a computer folder you ctrl+click item 1+click item 2+click item 3, then drag and drop the group elsewhere

other things i support:

• remove all (goes to VAULT, not inventory bc omg disaster)
• order by # input, INCLUDING DECIMALS PLEASE
• toggle item names on and off
• order by anything other than drag and drop
• checkbox "delete/move" with a "check all" option
• folder categories like suggested
• making invisible men more available bc is crazy and bought them all (ilu)
• no moar drag'n'drop ty

i feel like i talk about this a lot and it always seems like everything i say about it goes into a vacuum, so good to see a post about it that will hopefully get some attention. what i want the most is the ability to sort by item id (less desire for a time created sorting option here, but that's just me), as well the ability to remove multiple things at once without having to reload the entire page for every little thing. i don't touch my TCs at all anymore because of how bad the current "sorting system" is... any change would likely be one for the better honestly..

I would actually hate to have things go directly to vault instead of inventory - the vault is my new void where once things go in I'll never find them again. xD So to have all of those items go there wouldn't work for me.

Maybe like in shops where you can choose vault or inventory as the destination?

An option for inventory or vault and this idea would be grand.
