I had a gift card to Barnes and Noble so I bought the following:
The Dirt on Ninth Grave by Darynda Jones The Curse of the Tenth Grave by Darynda Jones Stollen by Kelley Armstrong Keeper of the Castle by Juliet Blackwell Give Up the Ghost by Juliet Blackwell Spellcasting in Silk by Juliet Blackwell
I have heard of books in that series by Darynda Jones and also Kelley Armstrong. I've read a few even. good books.
never heard of Juliet Blackwell though.
Her books are considered "cozy mysteries." I read her Witchcraft Mystery series and her Haunted Home Renovation Mystery series. Both are nice quick, easy reads.
Probably the Harry Potter box set? All these years I've been reading library copies of them, now I finally own them. c:
I'm gonna order some books online next week tho, wheeeee~
I just picked up an oldie, "Jerlayne" by Lynn Abbey. I read it in my early teens and I couldn't remember the title or the author for the longest time, which in hindsight seems daft of of me since I went on a big Lynn Abbey kick at 14, but I also blocked out a lot of 14, so maybe that's why.
Haven't bought a new one in a while. The last one was Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. (Unless you count Christmas gifts - I bought a book about national parks for my parents.)
I just bought Outlander - Book 7 & after that Book 8.
I also just bought Gallant Lady: A Biography of the USS Archerfish. It's about a submarine during WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War. My father was actually on the USS Archerfish during WWII.
Taming of the Shrew and Macbeth by Shakespeare

I went to the book store last month and bought a few: The Birds (by Frank Baker), Hellraiser (by Clive Barker), Bridget Jones' Baby (by Helen Fielding) and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (by Ransom Riggs). Still have two left to read, but as soon as I'm done with them, I'm going to buy more (Lauren Graham's book <3 and The Exorcist)!!!
I bought these a while ago, but am just finishing up the Summer King Chronicles by Jess E. Owen. I most recently bought "Let Me Wake" by Adrienne Stoltz & Ron Bass on a whim at the dollar store since I needed something else to read.
I got an Indigo gift card from my grandparents for Christmas, so I used it to buy a few animal-related books. WTF Evolution, which is all about weird plants and animals. Extreme Birds, which highlights birds based on their strengths, like long legs, biggest eyes, strongest smell, etc. And a Smithsonian guidebook on reptiles and amphibians.
the fellowship of the ring by tolkien! not a new/unread book; i was replacing an old copy that was falling apart. ;-;

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Aaand ordered Robin Hobb's Assassin's Apprentice as a gift for my cousin because they want to get into the series and as their fave cousin, I am more than happy to indulge.
