The "Mott Finder" achievement isn't retired, even though Mott is last year's minion. (jk, it is retired now) Although I don't really see a reason for the older achievements to be retired in the first place.

As far as I know Oowel (2009), Kawl (2010), Slivyne (2011), Eater (2012), Tortue (2013), Scurry (2014), and Mott (2015) can all still be found while searching the Pumpkin Patch. So why can't the achievements stay available for those who weren't around (or didn't have enough luck) to find them in the past?

I could understand retiring the achievements if the minions were no longer available, but since they are I think it would be nice to still have a chance at the achievements. They would likely still be difficult to obtain anyway, I've been finding the minions to be a rare sight even with the minion nip attached.

I've missed out on some of these, even though I had the nip equipped to my HA and was constantly searching the spot where the newest minion had been spotted. I know the nip affects ALL minions in the patch, so it doesn't guarantee the special one, but really? I put so much effort into trying to find the right one, and never saw it once before the achievement retired? :(

The ones I did get took days to find. Except for Puck. Feels like I got damn lucky this year. Got him early on in the event, thank goodness!

Would definitely love to see these unretired.

I wouldn't mind these being unretired at all.

Same, I only just found Puck today, and I've been searching nearly as often as I can.

If the minions are that rare even with people searching that much, imagine how hard the achievements are for people who don't have as much time to be online and participate.

Only having the 2 weeks during the year the minion is introduced is hardly enough time. At least let them be available every year so we have another chance.

Absolutely support this. If we can have a year to catch up on old pumpkins though, I'd love to be able to recapture older minions that aren't seeing the light of day. Unretiring them all one year (even if next). But being able to get achievements for them would be a bonus.

I would love this! I don't really see the argument for them being retired when you can still catch the minions (plus I just got a Mott like 15 minutes ago so I'm super biased)

Well I don't mind tbh I'm always happy to see people getting new achievements.. but if they'll unretire them I would like to see the same action to some other retired achievements.. like for TBT challengers.. All or nothing kind of thing..

The only difference I can see between the two things is that the minions were never retired (just the achievements were), while the challengers were only for the events (until they've been brought back).

I'm not necessarily against un-retiring those achievements as well. But it doesn't seem to be completely the same in my opinion.

the main purpose of the minion achievement is to catch them on the year of the release, this is the challenge.. My problem with TBT and the achievements is that there are so many items that you get from them..

What I can think of is to unretire them for the 30th-31th during the time decrease, it can be a nice perk..

But if they will unretire them for the rest of Morostide, I will not complain but I will be happy anyway :)

Yeah I get the challenge aspect, I guess. But they're hard to find even with lots of visits and the minion nip (at least they have been for me). I don't see too much harm in un-retiring them, or maybe like you said making them available during the time decrease or something.

They're retired for a reason - the achievement can only be obtained the year they are released. I dunno, I just always accepted that, and it makes sense. Achievements can't all be easy to obtain, after all.

I'm always pro unretiring achievements! The yearly minion achievements have always annoyed me - I try super hard to get them and often miss out, although I did manage to find this year's already. (Super pro unretiring battle achievements too, of course - that loot is hard to come by.)

IMO, Subeta could re-evaluate what it means by "achievement." For me, achievement means "achieve-able" -- so the concept of an unobtainable achievement is a total oxymoron. This is really senseless in the case of things users can -still do- (such as finding previous minions in the pumpkin patch).

IMO, Subeta needs to differentiate between achievements and trophies. Which are, to me, one time only special event things that CAN be unobtainable.

I do wish Subeta would bring back some achievements. Cursed too! I worked -so hard- getting Mori and Nori quests up to 1000 each only for that achievement to retire on me! :(

Please, please don't ping me. Please.

Fully support this! Especially seeing as you don't get a title or special item as a reward for the achievement.

As someone who has all but one of these already unlocked, I really can't see the harm in opening up these achievements again. There really was no reward for most of them, and for those that had rewards (titles) maybe the minions should be retired altogether. I know the values of most of these minions are already really low, so retirement might not be a bad idea for many of them anyways...
