I am not in favor of this because then subeta seems like with CSC you can buy anything and everything. Achievement related things that are retired should stay retired and not be available to "buy". If there were a way similar to how neopets made it so newer accounts could wear old retired avatars but be noted they were mocked or whatever then I would be in favor.

As much as I want that oowel forum title, I actually am not in support of this. It kinda just makes the achievements and titles worthless to those who earned them.

Nah, I don't think it's a good idea. Maybe separate purchasable titles? But not purchasing of actual retired achievement titles.

No thanks. I could maybe support additional forum titles you could buy (though not with CSC please) but achievement prize ones should stay retired. Otherwise what's the point of doing the achievement? You can just buy the title later on.

I'd like to see retired titles become available again, but I'm not sure about just out-and-out buying them. On the other hand, it would probably be hard to set up old achievements for us to actually earn them, so I don't know.

I just don't like the idea of something on the site being 100% completely unattainable.

basically wrote what I was going to. I'm a returning user that will never have all the achievements I had before, because they've since retired. I'd love to see retired titles/achievements make a comeback (probably not plot related ones, for obvious reasons, but ones like 'IS ZOMBIE FOR LONG TIME'),but I don't know how easy that would be to implement.

I'm also not sure about outright buying them.

I'd rather there be an event each year that lasts like a week where 10 or so retired titles are available to grind towards.

I'm definitely against flat out buying any titles related to achieves, whether they be retired or not. However, I know there are a few without achievements attached to them. I want to say completing a Loyalty Card would award a player with a title without getting awarded an achieve and the chance to buy those in the future with Loyalty Points or CSC would be nice.

As much as I'm sad that I'll never have the Mourner title, I don't really want retired stuff re-released either unless there wasn't a good reason for retiring it like the Cursed Title that I was working towards. >_>

Why reward rich users who can log once every year over active users who are here daily?

I don't think people will be happy about yet more CSC features and more CSC cards inflation.

I wouldn't mind seeing separate titles only available for purchase, but there's no reason anything earnt/retired should be purchasable beyond the original way, same goes for achievements, etc.

I don't agree with old/event related achievements being purchasable, because it's a kick in the teeth for people who participated in plots and did what was required to earn those achievements in the first place. I can maybe get behind brand new achievements that can bought, but definitely not for csc. Csc doesn't need anymore demand on it than it already does, and I'd rather see this as a potential sP sink.

Paying for older/retired titles? No, sorry. Paying for unique cash shop only titles? Hella yeah.

devil's advocate: everything else on this site is brought back - except achievements. prizes earned through plots are brought into the antique shop. all "collections" are supposed to be attainable, and what are forum titles but another collection? benefit of earning it the first time is that you don't have to pay whatever price it is to buy it when it gets rereleased.

I think that since nothing ever permanently retires they should be buyable. Maybe mark them with an asterisk or two, one on each end? But not for nearly so little cost as Suggested.

100MsP makes a very nice sP-sink and requires effort and/or sacrifice to acquire, even if that sacrifice is taking 10USD and selling the CSC of it to someone who otherwise wouldn't be able to have some.

I don't like the idea of just being able to buy those titles. However, I agree that nothing stays retired here, and probably shouldn't, so some way of making them available should exist.

Some way to work toward those titles, like 's idea of a small event makes sense to me.

Many old titles don't make sense to return, though. Like, for example "IS ZOMBIE FOR LONG TIME" because so much has changed since those days. We had to stay with the zombie HA without being able to simply remove our skin for over a year, and we had to give up the option of earning achievements for the new zombie event. Or something like "Subject Zero" that was awarded to a single person. I don't see how either of those could be fairly earned after the fact and there are probably many more like those.

otherwise, as much as it pains me ((cos I am missing quite a few good ones, that I would use the shit out of personally)) I don't support the original idea of purchasing old forum titles with mega amounts of sp/csc/currencies/souls. I doooo, however, support the idea of bringing back ways to achieve old forum titles tho...

i'd LOVE to see old achievements/titles brought back somehow; the antique shop is a good example tbh of how retired items are coming back! though i'm not 100% sure that having titles be purchasable (antique shop or elsewhere) would be the best compromise.

however i'm with luci & curbdirt and i would absolutely pay a ridiculous sum to write my own forum title.

I think Forumtitles are more on par with achievements? They don't really hinder the playability of the site, unlike beanbags/plushies etc.

This is a fun idea, maybe pay to change each time so it's not mega yolo or takes away from any earned titles - though I'm not sure how this can stop someone from replcating an earnt title, and if this would take away from the punny greatness of the current forumtitle system.

I think definitely CS or some new titles available only via purchasing is a great idea.
