Also yay for anonymous entries! People will probably still asks for votes, that was a huge problem on another site that had weekly contests like this.

Would it be okay to just use generic common names like Bob or Mary or similar?

I don't know if I'm even going to write a story, but just curious.

I have to work on a short story and/or HA, whenever I have more free time from work..

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping. "Oh, what a beautiful day it is!" [REDACTED] chirped. "[CONFIDENTIAL], aren't you glad to be able to experience the Great Outdoors on this fine day?"

"No," [CONFIDENTIAL] grumbled. "I'd rather give [SUBETA PET] a bath, and you know how much he hates water."

"Well golly gee, [CONFIDENTIAL]. But not even you can put a damper on today!"

"I bet those storm clouds can," [CONFIDENTIAL] smirked, pointing at an ominous dark streak across the bright blue sky.

DUN DUN DUN....

As you can see, I've presented a clean and effective solution that's hardly noticeable! Unfortunately I'm not submitting a piece so you'll be missing out on this brilliant writing. 😔
