I live by the beach and catch a lot of cool water pokemon, where do you guys live that you can catch specific pokemon? :3

Can this be moved to the game/entertainment forum? I think it might be more fitted there, unless it fits in the regular/general chit-chat forum too.

I live in a little bitty town where there is only wifi that you have to drive to at the pizza place or just sit at home and capture whatever comes to you as you walk around your house but it is still worth it. Can't find the one gym yet everything else is in the middle of town and I'm on the edge. Still a pokemoniac.

I'm surrounded by team Valor people where I live. I think it's a bunch of kids on summer vacation who keep claiming the local gyms for red team. If I walk down to the park by the river there are more water pokemon, but I haven't been able to find a dratini yet. I just hope the server stability improves as time goes on.

super lucky with the water pokemon there! I live inland, and there's not a big enough body of water to find bountiful water types. I'm planning a pokemon beach trip with a friend on monday so we can catch more water types. It'll give me a huge advantage with the gyms at home, because water types are rare. The most successful gyms have a single vaporeon, the rest are fire and ground types.

Got a mixture here in Northwest Washington. Living next to mountains and water simultaneously really helps said mixture.

Yay, I'm Team Mystic too!

I have bits of water here and there but haven't caught anything too glamorous yet. However, there's a main river that's about a 20 minute drive, give or take, from my house so my friends and I may head over there. The plan was to go there today but it's supposed to rain practically all day, bah.

Aside from my starter Charmander, I've only found one other fire type pokemon, Vulpix. Which sucks because I love the fire types. I saw the silhouette of Growlithe once but couldn't find it. I'm also pretty sure there's an Onix spawn across the street from where I live because there are always some there.

And btw this 3 pawprint glitch thing is horrible.

Yeah the glitch is really bad I agree. I keep having serious issues finding pokemon that I can't actually...uh..find. lol

mountains and forests for me. not many water sources, but so far i haven't struggled to find any water pokemon; they pop up in the middle of the store when i'm doing my grocery shopping lol. i've also managed to get two of my top three pokemon, jolteon and vulpix. i'm working on evolving my favorite, arcanine, but i've only caught one growlithe. fire pokemon really do seem to be on the rarer side.

we have lots of fires! not so many vulpix though, mostly growlithes haha. i do really want a ninetails myself, and a vaporeon!

I live downtown in a busy city so there are Pidgeys and Ratatas EVERYWHERE. I managed to catch a random Tentacool outside of my doctor's office yesterday, too, lol.

thats awesome that you were able to find a tentacool! i live in a city but havent been seeing too many pidgeys lately...lots of the rats lol

It's just hilarious because my GF and I recently moved into a new apartment and we have pigeons all over our balcony and they make her soooo mad. Now, on top of all that, we have Pidgeys, too, and I just think it's a hilarious coincidence.

Sooooo manyyyyy pidgeyyyys.... and Drowsee's, for some odd reason. Mine and 's apartment are surrounded by Drowsee and Pidgey, with some rattata and zubat thrown in. The occasional Eevee...

Can't wait to go out more and find more Pokémon!! :D

It seems my town is overrun by the two other teams, we finally were able to take over a gym. Mostly bug and poison type pokemon where I live unfortunately. But a fair share of eevees at least!

Lucky! I need more Eevees. I'm so close to evolving one, I just need a couple more candies.

Ooh what eeveelution are you going to evolve yours into?

My first will be Vaporeon, since water pokemon are my absolute favorites! Then my second will be Jolteon, then finally Flareon. <3 What about you?

Yeah Vaporeons are my favourite, it's what I went with actually! Then I'll probably do the same order you're doing! But I'm being picky and holding out for a higher CP Eevee, like at least 300 till I evolve them again.

I went into a different city yesterday and I caught a Jinx! But sadly, lost a squirtle :'(
