So we have a new theory on how to beat the troll. Provided to us by the efforts and patience of and .
Theory
The suggestion is that we need to use TEAMWORK! Ajavi and Badblacksheep worked together through a weapons list until they found a weapon that defeated his defenses. They then battled together to get wins up to 4 - waiting for the other player before they took their 5th wins respectively within seconds of each other.
As we know the 5th win resets the weapon, so using this theory, follow the instructions on what to do if you find a weapon that works!
What we're doing
In a bid to make this easier, we are assigning people to certain weapons to test. At the moment we know the weapons range between T1 to T3. Below are the 43 pages of T1, T2 and T3 weapons on Subetalodge and a link to the page in question. Each page has 25 weapons.
What to do if you want to be a part of the testing
First you need to be assigned a page of weapons to test. You're welcome to take more than one page. Simply post on this forum and ping myself or another admin from the member's list and they will assign you a page. We have multiple users testing pages to cover time zones and as many checks as we can. Once assigned you'll receive an invitation to join our forum group # trolling. Good job!! And fair enough on the CS weapon lol. What was it? Someone might have one to test.
I'm thinking as well. used the goldbrand to beat the troll. But had previously tried it and it hadn't worked earlier in the day. Maybe we need to test at different times too. How was it testing 25 weapons? Quite quick?
Batwing Blade was the Cash Shop Weapon. and yeah, it was fast with 8 items so it took me 3 battles. I'm testing with a battle level 3 pet so I can stay alive long enough to test all 8 at once.
Also if anyone testing needs help with sP to get a weapon on their page, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The ping group, and thus pinging the group is for members only for now because we want to try to prevent people from selfishly spoiling it for everyone. And for now for the same reason, if you get a winning item ping and post in the group forum (found at the group page).If we determine this method works we'll open it publically :)
Thanks! And could you add what I wrote above to the master post? [Edit] Need to ping again sorry :c Also, I just noticed, but the search should probably be changed to weapon type: normal and weapon use type: infinite use (for easier testing more cost effective for now so people aren't using bombs and stuff that are one use only and having to constantly buy them).
Yeah the weapon testing won't be just once, you'll have to periodically check your weapons when you can :)
[Spoiler=Way to Test Weapons Fast][/spoiler] Add 8 and go battle. You only have to test each weapon once. So 4 turns. If none work then you can forfeit. If you have defenders be sure to test them with an attacker item :)
Alright, I'll add it to the first post and see if anyone can test that too. Ahhh that's not too bad at all. Mean we can potentially test a few theories with time etc.

I was trying to find a page that I didn' have any/many weapons on. Is it alright if I take page 19? ^_^
hey everyone! Semi-large crisis at work so I won't be around as much as I thought but if you want to assign me to page 7 I'll do my best to test when I can!
@ Enyo I just finished buying all the items on page 2, about to test them, but I was wondering if anyone else had because I don't really want to drop 2m on it. I saw in the other thread someone had it, so if someone were willing to lend it to me to test, or just test it themselves, that would be great. Sorry about this :/
