There are no items stocked 😦

There's either nothing or not much at all in the NPC stores, as of a couple of hours ago, and the restock rates haven't changed. I am not sure how I feel about this, especially since the new shop situation and the Great Old Shop Purge isn't even a week old.

I feel like we should at least let the dust settle on the new shop situation before changing up the restock process so dramatically. It's too much, too soon.

[edit] The stores are definitely clearing on the hour. The stores might be restocking quicker, too, although sometimes it seems they aren't. The stores aren't restocking any quicker, which poses a bit of a problem. Are we back to the old restock format? If so, cool, but I still think this could have waited.

I was wondering if this was intentional too, I noticed a lot of the shops are really empty? I'd understand wanting to reduce items from the site, but I'd have thought that buying from NPC should would have been helping reduce sP from the system (however minor the effects)

Aaand now they're pretty full again, and the RS times seem to be longer. Maybe it was an experiment?

Yeah, they're clearing on the hour. Which is a lot more frequent than once a day.

I noticed this also, but it does not seem like they have increased the restock rate. Sometimes it is still taking over 30 minutes for certain shops to restock. If they are going to keep clearing the shops every hour, then the shops need to restock more often, or at least more items need to restock at once

Hope this change isn't permanent.

It's not the best... I can appreciate it if it's an attempt to curb the deflation that's happened in the last few weeks with everyone trying to empty their shops, but with the current restock rates, it makes ordinary game play a bit of a pain. It'd be a lot more bearable with a longer time between clears; three or four hours, maybe. Every hour is a bit excessive.

If you're going to clear the shops every hour, reduce the time it takes them to restock again after the clearance. Some shops have hardly restocked before they're cleared again.

I noticed shops were particularly empty last night when I was doing my quests. I hope it doesn't stay like this. Maybe it's a glitch like the pet hunger thing that's going on right now?

I've noticed the shops seem to have a lot less item as well.

Seeing empty shops just makes me not wanna restock tbh. I get where they're coming from, but restockable items won't help with the sP problem in any way. It just makes new items even more impossible to restock.

I mean, didn't they change it to where shops restock depending on how often something is bought from them? That'd explain why they don't restock as often any more, cause it's bloody impossible to buy from an empty shop to prompt it to restock. They clear out so often... It's kind of annoying me.

It's highly inconvenient. Every single time I check out the shops they're half-empty or empty.

I hope this isn't permanent, otherwise quests and restocking will be off the table, and there's 90% of the time I spend on subeta probably going to end up being spent on other sites. Was there even any kind of announcement or warning about this?

I wonder if the recently returned hourly clearing is combining with the smart stocking behavior that was supposed to have happened when the shops went to a 24 hour clear cycle to leave some shops empty for 45+ minutes. Or if Lucien is just lazy or something.

This is really, really annoying given that shops take so long to stock in the first place. Empty shops = boring shops.

Typical Subeta. We're all left wondering if this is intentional or a glitch because nobody has bothered to tell us anything. If it's intentional there should have been a news post about it.

Just chiming in with my annoyance too. I check particular shops multiple times a day and they're usually empty now, or only have 5-10 items max. I think that maybe every 4 hours is a nice mix between frequent but functional clear times. Or at least refill the shops very soon after they're cleared.
