As the MM of this forum, I don't tend to move to P&B unless it's obviously a bug or staff confirms it's a bug. Otherwise, you're just providing feedback on how the site works. Maybe it's intentional for it to work like this.
- That's what I was trying to confirm by pinging Destiny and Reya. Is a bug or is it intentional? There's been zero staff acknowledgement either way.
TBH I think it's intentional. It's exactly like the tweaking Keith did with the restocking back in January-ish, only in reverse, almost. But it seems to me as though the stores are also restocking less quickly as well as clearing once per hour.

47 minutes. I thought the times had been capped, more or less, at about thirty. I guess that's changed now.

Can we please have some confirmation as to what is going? There are numerous comments in the new News post about old shops closing asking the same thing. They are stating that they are unable to finish their quests, there is some crazy prices for restockable items (Gold Dust was one of the names stated) and were also very confused as to what was going on!
Would any of you be able to respond? Thank you!

I posted in the news comments that we're looking into it! :) A few users suggested the shops start restock more, and I responded to one or two!
Grace is busy fixing shop things (if you notice, she recently did a siteupdate), so she hasn't had a chance to look at the cron for main shops yet. We aren't ignoring this, though!

Oh, looks like there were some pushes for the shops (I've been busy adding items, didn't have a chance to check all the recent updates)! From the comments on it, it looks like Keith has main shops restocking more. So keep an eye out on them!
Sorry, but why did it take 5 days to respond to this? As something that affects gameplay, that is unacceptable.
Also, posting in some random news comment isn't going to cut it for the people who don't go scouring every single now post hoping a staff member randomly made a comment that pertains to THIS issue. It should have been posted here, days ago.

^ TBH I've been watching shops today and I haven't really seen this having a significant impact. The amount of items per restock is a very minute difference, especially if shops are still only restocking 2-3 times an hour.
Just a heads up - a programmer just pushed a change to stop NPC shops from completely clearing as often as they were. It took a bit of digging to figure out exactly why it was happening (from what I understand, it was a really old line of code in a file unrelated to shops), but it should be fixed now! I'm going to keep an eye on shops throughout the day -- if you guys don't really notice a change over the next day or so feel free to ping me!
Well, the hour's ticked over and everything's still there, so that's a start. Will there still be more frequent clearing, or are we completely back at the old system?
Oh I'm really glad it wasn't an intentional push, as I'd noticed some items were really not very present in shop search :)
