It would help move items from shops. I know one of the top reasons people buy a gold account is for Autopricing, but there would be need to be some new reasons to buy a gold account.
In all honestly, Autopricing, and extra inventory space is for me the main reason to buy a Gold Account. I don't buy one regularly because the perks of that sort of account really isn't worth the money. Something like a discount at the Cash Shop if you had one would be amazing.
Gold accounts do need more benefits. Maybe a single autoprice for the shops for everyone, but there's no way I could support a permanent non gold account autopricing option
I don't think a single autoprice for everyone will move items out of the old shops very much at all. They'll be easily overtaken by lower prices from the GA users who autoprice as often as they can.
I would like to see basic accounts have the ability to see the lowest prices in order to price their shops more easily by hand, because C&P the item name into the shop search to see prices is really inconvenient and time consuming. If gold accounts could then be upgraded to autopricing all of their shops once a day for free, I think that would be a fair trade off.
You can't build more incentive for a gold account by basically taking one of its biggest pulls and adding it to non-GA accounts. It just wouldn't work. Why bother getting a GA if I can autoprice even one shop, once per day ? The only reason why I have one right now is because I wanted to sell some of the crap before this new system is forced (and make back some of what I spent on csc for a GA).
Honestly, I think that GAs should be able to autoprice their shops multiple times a day without having to pay additional CSC. I've always thought a single AP once a day was rather slim.
GAs should have, maybe, 4 or 5 free APs a day for all shops with the lowest prices visible under each item and regular players should be allowed one free AP a month/every 6 weeks and not have the lowest prices visible under each item.
A site I used to play, which was very low in userbase, allowed upgraded accounts to have unlimited AP useage daily.

I think the opportunity to praise items easier with a GA is enough luxury.
I think that non-GA-users are entitled to the same amount of space in their stores as users with GA. The difference is too big at this point imo. Furthermore, I also don't use permanent a GA.
This would be a fair trade off. It's a major pain to continuously shift tabs in order to search for an item and then price the item. Before I got a GA, I gave up on my shop because it was taking too much time to price things. And, keeping autoprice a GA only perk keeps the incentive to buy a GA without coming across as the site being desperate.
Now, if things go as planned, then everyone should get a one time autoprice to compensate for having to start shops over from scratch.
You can already autoprice each new shop once a day. It says so on the autoprice page!
- will this change when/if the shop sizes are increased? also can we autoprice galleries?
Honestly..as a regular monthly GA, I don't understand why the "lowest price" is a GA exclusive, it's not like we are pricing all the items by ourselves.. we have the autopricer for it..
I think non-GA would find it more helpful and will use it more..
If shops are going to stay so small I don't think "show lowest prices" should be for non GA users.
Having a "show lowest prices" for non-GA would certainly be lovely - sure that would incentive many current hoarders to start selling. Let's be honest, having to search each item one by one for an entire shop takes too long. It's simpler just keep hoarding everything, a choice that the staff seems to wish to discourage.
However, though a non-GA user, I think keeping the autoprice as it is (once per day for each shop) solely to GA may the best. After all this is a business, and autopricing is one of the top reasons to have a GA.

I fully support having the lowest prices visible for non-GA users. I never even glanced at that when I had a GA because I just autopriced. That's one exclusive perk that makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
I don't care HOW you think you can spin it, it's completely useless for a GA and exceedingly unfair that the only people who COULD use it are simply not allowed to have it until they don't need or want it anymore.
Yeah there isn't any plan to change that!
Not entirely sure about galleries, I don't imagine galleries would be. I'll follow up with .
- oh wow that's amazing. I hope galleries will still be autopriceable as I know some people, including myself, use them to store things until they are a good price to sell or to use as a reference for buying up cheap beastie items etc.
"Show lowest" for non-GA users... Yes please!
I honestly doubt I'll be buying any more GAs when this one runs out so having to individually search the price for each item could easily drive me away from the site. I HAVE done the "search 'n' price" before but back then I only sold items worth 50k or more that I got from quests. Even with such relatively low amount of items it was a proper pain in the bottom and not at all very profitable.
At the very least if non-ga shops don't display the lowest shop price, it should give a direct link (that opens in a new tab) to search for that item in shops. I mean this is already something that happens in every single item hover, it shouldn't be that hard to put it into the shops.
Hell I'd like that to happen, ga or no ga. Sometimes stuff is cheap and I wanna go buy more (TCs have given me a complex where I always want 5-10 copies of everything, just in case). This would save me from having to copy item names and open tons of more tabs.
I'm indifferent to non-ga shops having the lowest price listed. If I was blue I'd love it for sure, and as a current gold I wouldn't be bothered if it was a available for all. At the same time there's so few reasons to even buy a ga these days, not sure if it can afford another blow like that (keeping in mind I don't support the shop item limit difference, that's just not fair).
Fully support the "show lowest" for non-GAs. I never used that when I was GA, because I would just autoprice. Now I rarely price at all because switching between pages to search takes so long. Making that feature for non-GAs would be a huge improvement.
