actually got me thinking of this with their comment in the Elwood thread over in Feedback. Elwood's a prankster. He was BORN on the 1st of April. What better way to honour him than to have THIS cutie

run a new regular restocking Practical Joke/Prank Shop?!? He could even have a side job as a quest giver where you have to bring him pizza related items (pizza dough baking supplies, pre-made dough, toppings, sauce ingredients, etc), mechanics (nuts, bolts, metal, rocks, wood, fire, etc) for pizza ovens, and boxes (to make pizza boxes) to help him with his enterprise!

This practical joke website is (according to the website) US' biggest toy store. It could give artists a ton of wacky ideas for prank toys. Some can be wearable toys, all will be playable with pets and some will just be toys and non-wearables. There could possibly be some food disguised as weird stuff but it tastes really good (we already have some - cream and chocolate covered things along with food that looks like poop. We could have food masquerading as toys, bugs, grass, cacti, hot peppers, etc). Here is a link that gives some food ideas (I just wouldn't do the toothpaste in the Oreo cookies, cuz, ew {and it's not good to ingest toothpaste}, but maybe whipped cream with lemon flavouring?). Maybe there could even be some cute clothes that come out of it, too (goofy shirts, pants, accessories, etc). There could even be joke books, prank books and other similar books, along with stickers, trick weapons and goofy minions!

We already have some practical joke items on site, one I can think of off the top of my head: [item2=Whoopee Cushion] and I'm sure there are a few more!

Eeeh. I feel like any practical joke items could be comfortably sold in the (somewhat neglected) Toy Shop, so having a separate shop is somewhat redundant. I've got no issue with bringing out a few more items, though.

Also, in a weird way, I enjoy the recurring joke of Elwood not having a place on the map, and it'd take some of his charm away if we un-did that.

So may of us love Elwood that I think it would be great for him to have his own niche. It's really not fair that he doesn't have a place. He needs some love! It's not just about new items. It's about including an NPC that a lot of people absolutely adore a lot more into Subeta's main stream of things due to the love for Elwood.

The toy shop can have it's own items, but it's not a prank shop. I don't see why some people aren't open to something new and fun. It's really disappointing. There are prank shops in RL, why not on here? It'd be so much fun.

Completely agreed with Dice. This belong in the Toy Shop

If we want Elwood as a NPC, we should campaign for his actual business, a pizzeria.

I like the idea of prank items, but think they would be better suited to the Toy Box.

Doesn't Elwood already run a pizzeria? It just slightly doesn't exist in this realm.

I'd be into it if it wasn't always accessible, like it blips in and out of existence through some dimensional rift or other every now and then. Such as every Thursday, maybe? (I never could get the hang of Thursdays.)

Elwood runs a pizzeria, but it's not an actual store, and this is what I want, because we don't have enough pizza here, and this is what Elwood wants.

- I'm all for an actual on-site Pizzeria store, with Elwood as the NPC, and of course more pizza.

They are older and I didn't know about them for a long time. If they revamp them I'd love different brow and stach colors...maybe even different style staches!

I agree maybe prank items and stuff could go in the toy shop, but I wouldn't mind seeing Elwood finally have a real pizzeria or at least be involved in something.

I'm sorry, but I really can't imagine and don't want to imagine an entire shop filled with prank items. It's such a niche market and I just don't think it's necessary. Same goes for pizza, tbh. But I could maybe be convinced to have a pizzeria tab added to Fantine's Bakery. I'm on the fence for even that, though.

I do however agree that Elwood should have a more prominent and permanent role on site, especially if he's an important enough character to justify a revamp rather than complete removal.

Not only that, but Elwood is like Deadpool levels of fourth-wall breaking humor. While I have no doubt that he would appreciate the simplistic joke items like whoopie cushions and silly string, at the same time I feel like it'd be uncharacteristic of him to settle down and open a shop for those kinds of things.
