I'm sorry, but I really can't imagine and don't want to imagine an entire shop filled with prank items. It's such a niche market and I just don't think it's necessary. Same goes for pizza, tbh. But I could maybe be convinced to have a pizzeria tab added to Fantine's Bakery. I'm on the fence for even that, though.

I do however agree that Elwood should have a more prominent and permanent role on site, especially if he's an important enough character to justify a revamp rather than complete removal.

Not only that, but Elwood is like Deadpool levels of fourth-wall breaking humor. While I have no doubt that he would appreciate the simplistic joke items like whoopie cushions and silly string, at the same time I feel like it'd be uncharacteristic of him to settle down and open a shop for those kinds of things.

I agree with everyone saying this would fit better in the existing Toy Shop. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Elwood, but turning him into a regular shopkeeper sounds like a really mundane way to do it.

Has the Toy shop even gotten anything new since the Tricycles, in December 2014?

There are a bunch of useless shops. Seedlings being one of them. Aside from the pitcher, ikunox and aeanoid seed, is there anything worth it in there?

seedling has the ornate pitcher which would need moved, also stat booster seeds are kinda nice. I would rs in seedling when I used to rs before they ruined apothecary

Just those. Rabbit followings are fun to get because they remind me of when I could get 30m+ for them easily. Aeanoid seeds would need moved too. Other than that it is a junky shop. It could be repurposed if we could grow baking ingredients and there was a revamp of gardens but that probably won't happen.

A practical joke shop seems like a very narrow scope and it wouldn't get many new items after the initial batch I feel since there aren't too many different things.

If she doesn't ask for toys, then does that mean they're even more useless than they already were?

I believe she asks for game prizes and that was recently changed to sometimes game prizes and sometimes just a random cheaper item, it might be a toy, I'm not completely sure as I don't do them often either.

I could maybe see a line of practical joke items that are like... "Elwood Brand" or something. But I much prefer he got a pizza shop... even if it does magically appear and disappear as its gimmick. lol

I agree with the others that say any joke items could be in the Toy Store. I think it would be nice to incorporate him in some other ways on the site though.

Maybe they could give him a random event instead? He himself is pretty random, so that may be fitting. Like the pie RE, but he'll throw a pizza at you instead or something :p

I'm with those who think joke items are ok but they should go in the Toy Box. I just don't think there would be enough material there to justify a specialty shop like this. Wasn't the Magic Box closed because its stock (and/or Apothecary's stock) was too limited?

Yes, we need more Elwood in our lives (and I assume the staff is already working this out, why else would they waste time on the revamp?), but becoming a regular shopkeeper would feel like a demotion for him.

I'd be absolutely stoked to have a bunch of practical joke items, but I'm going to echo the sentiments that they should go in the very underutilised toy shop instead c: I do like 's idea of having a few "Elwood brand" joke items though!

People aren't opposed to this because they "aren't open to something new and fun," they're disagreeing with devoting an entire shop to such a restricted range of items. I prefer the idea of an Elwood brand or something related to pizza, and agree that he should be more than just a shopkeeper.

We could never have enough Pizza! All of the pizzas- maybe taking a little from that prankster idea and do like eyeball (and other gross sounding) pizzas and having him offer that there.

And maybe some garlic bread and breadsticks... I'm starting to get hungry...

IF staff likes the idea of a specialty shop with practical joke/prank shop.... can they do something like a version of the wintertime snowball launching at other users? If you guys know what I mean?? Or maybe a specialty shop open just around April Fools to celebrate his birthday??
