T6 and clueless

Hi guys. I went on hiatus for a very long time before coming back a few months ago, and I'm finally looking at battling again. Problem is I have no idea about weapons now!
All I have are a few things I randomly picked out from other threads:

I have 96AP points at my disposal. Trying to get a mid range costing set, but willing to go more expensive if the item is useful for higher tiers.
check out Reborn Icewand of Doom. crafted by combining Reborn Wand of Doom and Freezewand of Doom. still very useful even after tier 6 if you are on a budget.
Gorgun is maybe the cheapest 100% freezer since you can buy it in battle shop. there are others, but if you are on a budget and just want a reliable freezer, Gorgun is your guy.
Recycle Blaster will blast your opponent weapon into a junk. they still use the junk, so actually you get hit a lot less when that happen.
Soma Tablets works like recycle blaster, but it also come with random blessing and curse. a must buy. can be use together with recycle blaster.
Reviver Of The Lion is a 90% healer that doesn't take healer slot. worth looking into.
other notable options:
Frost Thorn, genetech combo. probably cheaper to craft yourself.
Blunderbuss is particularly useful against meatslab. and cheap.
Lightbulb Nunchucks is another cheap stuff. can't recall who is this best against, but i remember it being useful during tier 6 and 7.
Ice Rose is not too bad if you like curse. i personally still use it until now for opponent that block too much.
Frozen Ocean Curl by my experience is a decent multiuse freezer. help me out a lot.
First off, you're in need of a freezer. Do you have any battle tokens? If not, make sure to do your Battle Quests each day. At T6, I think most people would use the Deluxe Death Shard or Siren Harp, but those aren't the most cost effective options. I recommend grabbing a right now and then upgrading to a or once you've saved up enough battle tokens.
Go ahead and grab a . It blasts one of your opponent's weapons into a 1-icon weapon, which is handy.
Since your Steamwork Hunting Gun is semi-breakable, you'll want to add another attacker to your set. You can toss out your Malevolent Grimfruit as there are better weapons you can choose from. isn't a bad option. would be better, but it would set you back 22.5 million sP to make. I've seen several people mention that they use the Reborn Icewand for several tiers after T6, so it is certainly worth a look. listed some others you might be interested in :)
More expensive weapons you can basically use forever that are worth taking a look at: - works similarly to Recycle Blaster - 90% healer, a little less effective than Phoenix Quill, but still an essential - full icon blocker once per battle
For scrolls, you'll definitely want to add some to your set for defense.

I too am a little clueless when it comes to tier 6 weapons as my own armory is geared for tier 8 and higher. I could list out some staple items that apply for tier 6 and onward:
Phoenix quill is nice but I would also get as another almost full healer that even provides some defense and has a mod slot
is a good full blocker. I would also get since it not only is a full blocker but also has a medium chance freeze.
As others hAve said is good for blasting am opponent weapon and rendering it useless. Similarly, there's that also blasts if you don't have the funds for soma tablets.
I have never used the soma tablets or felt I've needed the soma tablets since you can mod weapons with curses and blessings, but I have used to steal two weapons in addition to blasting. I find this useful against opponents that can also steal if my steal protection doesn't activate.
is a nice earth blocking scaling weapon that also has a small % heal and is a good alternative for the ornate hook swords
you may also want to consider as a 100% freezer that blocks a lot of dark until you are able to make
scrolls
I point these in a sub category since my post was getting very long. Scrolls are good to fill any gaps in your defenses or to boost your attack/heal
Good fire defensive scrolls are that has a chance to freeze and that also blocks other icons like light and phys as well. Another good defensive scroll is that blocks dark, phys, and I believe water or ice.
is my favorite alternative to tasseled aegis since it attacks, blocks some earth, phys and dark (all common icons dealt by most challengers) and heals for 7%. If that's still out of your price range, is a good infinite blocker and heals 5%.
Scrolls that have a good chance for freezing are and these consume a lot of AP and aren't cheap, but equipping a few of them gives you the possibility of chain freezing opponents
