I've noticed that some of the unicode characters, like the one that looks like a scroll and the one that's a huge star (even the checkmark and small star characters), no longer work. I used several in my signature and as you can see they aren't appearing correctly. When I try to fix them they just turn to question marks.

They worked fine before the server move. Please fix...

I have the ™ in my shop title and it borked after the server move. I just went into edit shop and manually changed the name from the glitched characters back to the ™ and it seemed to fix it, for mine at least.

Maybe try taking it all out, saving it without any special characters, and then putting the correct coding back in and saving again?

Although I could just be lucky and that character works but some don't, who knows :P

Nope, that didn't work for me....

what characters are you using? Can you enter them into say, just a forum post? Do they work that way? Like just paste them into a reply and see what happens, lol.

EDIT : Not fixed. Still not reappearing on my galleries. They do work in posts and the notepad it seems though

EDIT : Okay take that back...they don't work in posts. They change to a ? after I refresh the page. They're still working in the Notepad widget

I have this problem as well. Noticed it in my shops and my status. Tried to change my shop name back to the original unicode symbol (an umbrella symbol ? which might show up as a ? here) and it just defaulted to question marks. Definitely not just replaceable for everybody.

This is affecting me on pet pages, transforming my apostrophes and quotation marks into these strange replacement symbols which are totally uncalled for. Please put it back.

Just wanted to say I'm getting this as well.

Some of the topics (stickies) here had those characters and now you can see they're a bunch of random "normal" characters

I use the characters for my galleries and shop - removed them for now - and they change the question marks whenever I try to add them in

I've got some strange things on a couple of pet pages - Buzzi and Anthology.

Looks like an apostrophe and a hyphen have been replaced by a string of characters.

yep, i was having this issue with smart quotes, em-dashes, and special characters (anything accessed by holding down option or by using the "special characters/emojis + symbols" menu under "edit" in the browser). had to go through my pet profiles and replace them all.

[edit]ok so those look to be working here even after refreshing the page, but i just tested it on a pet profile and they still didn't work.

[edit]aaaand of course they're all questions marks now except for the copyright symbol, which is the copyright symbol + a question mark.
