Chars are still not showing for me. I am also using Chrome. I checked my pet pages tho and they don't seem to be effected for me. So, that's weird too. It doesn't seem to be consistent, which is why I think it's difficult to pinpoint. Just really weird for sure!

since that was a couple days ago thought I'd post. My pet profiles still have the weird & amp ;lt; and gt; <style> for example. Any idea when these will go back to normal?

Have we successfully finished moving to PHP7?

I would also liked to know if we moved to PHP7 because I'm still getting the weird symbols littered about my pet profiles. If this is something that just cannot be fixed please let us know, I'd rather try to fix it by hand than sit around waiting forever with an ugly story. It's already been over three weeks. :/

I don't think it has been fixed since I still these weird things on ALL my pet profiles.

I've noticed, at least for me personally, that I can replace the gibberish in pet profiles with their proper brackets and it saves correctly now.

However, it's definitely not yet been fixed for my user profile. I tried again to re-add my cute little flower ascii symbols and I still get the ??? and ✿ after replacing and saving.

As of 01/04/16 this whole no-ascii/only ??? and gibberish is still a thing. :'c

Forums, user profiles, pet profiles are all still affected. (Just re-tested again on pet profiles, at least, and you can see the result on Sunburst's: big fat yellow ????? on there, lol.)

What annoys me is that it's so inconsistent. I can only see the effect on two of my pet profiles - Depressive and Horus Lupercal - and even then only some of the affected characters are replaced? It's very odd.

Has there been any update with this issue since the 8th of december i just noticed hah woops? Unicode characters are currently still not displaying properly in some areas of the site-- notifications & ping group titles, specifically (that i can readily recall, at least!). Some characters still don't work period in forum posts.

[edit] unicode characters replaced with ? in pings unicode moon character replaced with ? in forum group title the many ?'s in my CW release thread were once stars (the title is ok tho!)

I'd like to know too. I still cannot use the characters in my shop and galleries!!!

i know that this thread is old(ish), but this is still affecting forum posts and the side bar/pings! i can't confirm or deny for other areas of the site still being affected, except i know for SURE that they're working in forum titles and in CW shops!

in the side bar though:

and they psuedo-work in forum posts, until you refresh: then they revert back to being question marks again sadly

i'm in the latest chrome, win 7! they also don't show up in opera either for what it's worth but i mean it's opera so and hard refresh/clearing cache/etc doesn't affect it.

[edit] the v same characters work in the new shops, though! so maybe that's helpful to know!

Also does not work for me in the user profile, using chrome. :/
