Ok, first off please forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I looked around a bit but I'm still not quite sure where to put this or if I should just make a ticket or something.
I don't often play on my iPad because rsing is much slower, but yesterday I was redirected by an ad. I didn't have time to look into it, but today it's back in full force taking me from subsets every few pages. I tried clear all cookies, cache, history, you name it before coming back here. It would happen every few times the ad banners load. It would happen on a banner that loaded blacked out, so I don't know what was actually supposed to load. I had to turn off JavaScript to get it to stop. I didn't want to. I know the ads support the site, but I'm a bit desperate at this point.
It's mostly taking me to these two pages: uber.com
https://control.kochava.com/v1/cpi/click?campaign_id=kogameofwariosmachinezone 74551a82d050c164a33fed4209acc&network_id=2125&clm_click_ id=f432fcbc1b3fd0d9cf845904c27d2937&creative_ id=B1089&device_id=device_id&device_ver=device_ver&site_id=3 (This is one link, but it looked like I broke the forum with it)
The control.kochava.com won't load or will refresh endlessly. I hope it's just me dealing with this and that there's some type of fix for it. :(
-- Update
Ok, I may have fixed it. In safari settings there is a Remove All Website Data button, but upon further inspection it wasn't actually removing it all. I had to manually remove each one instead. So far it seems to have worked. I have JavaScript on again and I've clicked all over subeta waiting for the redirect but nothing has happened so far. I'll update this again if I've spoken too soon.
(Edited to put that I have JavaScript back on now)
-- Update Got through Pete's quests and then clicked on the news page before it happened again. I must be on the right track since it took so long this time. :( Still very irritating though. For now I'll just use my desktop.
I have the same problem on the iPad. Managed to get Adblock for it and it seems to be doing better.
I recall getting redirected to those a few times too these past few days, I have adblock on my laptop for the very reason of ads redirecting or other things annoying, on my version tablet however I lack that and I've gotten MANY redirects to other things (usually backing the hell out of that before it loads if its in the browser.) But I've also gotten MANY more that redirect to opening up the Google play store and going to that listing. Pandora seems to be a popular one for this :/
This is only happening on Subeta too. No other site I visit regularly has ads that do this, not enjoying the regular redirects tbh!!
UPDATE: i started noticing these again attempting to visit the site feedback forum again. Lovely.
Control.kochava was one,

what's interesting is some of these ads are created with the link in mind to act as if you've clicked it already,. likely the whole click and or push keyword in URLs. obviously simply copy and pasting them in forums doesnt do that. The only ones that can't confirm this on are ones where the offer in said ad has expired and therefor redirected to a simpler URL (I remember this being the case for another ad as well) but I assume some ads are getting crafty with getting people to "click" on them and this being a rather unfortunate and invasive way.

This time it opened the play store but it never loaded the app it wanted to bring me to so I just closed it. This has been happening so obnoxiously often its taken me several tries to even read a news post when I'm mobile. The only work around I've found is to immediately stop loading the page once enough of the page I'm trying to view is loaded. :|

In having this same exact issue for the past two days now. Im getting so annoyed by it. It keeps taking me to redtags specials each time, only a few times has it loaded the google play store. I'll back outta the ad right away to get back yo subeta but once I get back it instantly takes me back to the ad.
Ill try doing what I read im here and see if it helps stop it :/ I just hope that someone figures out what this is. Posting seems to be the only real thing I can do on here without getting redirected untill after I post.

I have this issue on my iphone too. It's only recently that it's started happening so frequently on subeta though. Turing off javascript stops the auto-redirect adds, but forum post won't load with it off. Since ios9 came out i downloaded Clear Ad Blocker which has been working well so far. It blocks all ads in safari though, not just the auto-redirect ones.

This is happening to me when I use my iphone (ios9) today, the links are the same as those that have been posted. I'm not clicking on ads or anything, I opened subeta (news) and was instantly redirected. And was then redirected trying to clear pings/open a topic/put my pet in training. Whatever it redirects me to says that it can't be opened or something. :l
i keep getting kochava and uber and also iphonesecurity.help (which is a sketch af url) it's driving me crazy omg
Edit: I don't get redirected anymore, but it does try to redirect me. Not sure if this has anything to do with me getting the iPhone 6s/installing the new update in between though?
Going to take a look at this, thank you!

So last night a friend gave me a code to plug in to see if that would help stop the issue and it did...untill I just got on again. It came back in FULL force. The moment a paged loaded I got redirected instantly. Took about five times for me to be able to get here without it redirecting me. The ads are still gone but still grtting redirected. I really hope you will be able to figure this out keith

Yeah I have this issue as well. I'm using Chrome on iOS, so disabling JS isn't possible as far as I know. I'm also getting what appears to be malware downloads but Chrome isn't allowing them through because it functions differently than Safari, as it's just a shell over WebKit as far as I recall.
I've enabled restrictions on installing apps, and that puts a stop to the App Store popup redirects, but I'm still getting the same "install failed" and blank Kochava redirects that I was before. Unfortunately it won't let me see the "source" URL for the failed downloads. The ad and the apps it redirects to don't seem to be correlated, btw. I've installed an ad blocker and will use it once I sync my Chrome passwords back to Keychain, but I hate to have to do that honestly.
For me it's every time I open a link, almost.
I haven't been able to do anything because literally every time I try, an ad pops up and redirects me like everyone else that plays through the cellular devices :( It's driving me crazy.

Oh thank god its not just me, I had submitted a ticket and was so worried. Ive done literally everything I can to block these.
Found the only way around it is turning JavaScript off, but when I do that I can barely browse the site. So I have to turn it back on half the time and find the ads.
I do have a adblock bookmarklet, but having to click that every page load is killer. Especially when the uber still kicks in.
If it werent for the fact that I dont plan on updating my ipad until a more stable release, I would dl a adblock browser. All of them in the app store need 9.0 But safari and puffin are all I have for now. I guess Ill have to keep turning java on and off until this is fixed.
Still, thank you so much for looking in to it fast Its hard enough to have a ipad as a main web source, let alone with stupid redirects haha. You guys are so good to us mobile users and do your best to fix it fast.
If its anything like my pc chrome, you should be able to type in chrome://plugins and turn it on or off. I havent used chrome on my new ipad, but it did work on my old one a year or so ago.
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll see if the flags works just for future reference. I use that all the time on my desktops but I didn't know you could use it on mobile!
And fyi as long as you don't have like, an iPad 2, I would highly recommend downloading iOS 9 as I've found it to be very stable on both my devices (iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5c), and iOS 8 has a whole host of security vulnerabilities (CVEs) that were patched with the iOS 9 update. Additionally, the latest update to 9.0.2 seems to have fixed a lot of the minor bugs and security vulnerabilities people were still finding with iOS 9. I'd definitely recommend updating as long as you don't have a specific reason for holding out until 9.1 or something.
Oh good! I tend to forget to use it unless there is a specific issue haha. I actually may try and dl chrome to see if it makes any diff. I know safari isnt the best.
If anything Ill wait until I can back up, Im so used to my old ipad 2 and its updates killing everything that Im wary even with an air now xD I read that some features I use like my stylus by 53 and some draw programs have issues, so that was my big reason to wait it out. But if its less buggy now that they did a minor update I may go for it! Thanks for the heads up!
I am now getting this on my phone since my GA died. Most annoying thing ever.
I just changed our ad network, please let me know if this resolves for you!

Having the same problem on mobile (iphone) keeps taking me to uber or opening up my app store app. I had a 1 week GA to see if that was an issue and i got NO REDIRECTS! but now that it expired I literally can do NOTHING on site. It won't even let me stare at a page without it redirecting me elsewhere which is honestly driving me crazy
I'm not enjoying these new ads, hate the intrusive nature of it! Even when you tuck it away, you still see the banner arrow -_-;
[edit] Didn't quite realise it's for the redirecting problem, hope it improves that aspect of the adverts. But other than that, I don't really enjoy the idea of the ads getting in the way
its not redirecting anymore as far as I can tell, so thats much better, but im not sure if the bottom ad bar is supposed to be all the way across the bottom of the screen like that? on mobile (where i can actually see ads, 'cause i dont want to take a chance with redirecting ads on my laptop) it looks like this while not a huge deal in my book, those are the only two ads I even see there really, but it seems annoying since it kinda does this while i scroll down? not sure if that was intended, maybe it broke the css a bit?
