After re-watching some old Studio Ghibli films, I thought it'd be cool if we could have some minions based off some of creatures from some of the most well-known films!

Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro)

Teto (Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind) (don't read the manga version if you don't want your heart broken...)

Kodamas (Princess Mononoke)

Jiji (Kiki's Delivery Service)

Haku's dragon form (Spirited Away)

If you have any other Studio Ghibli creatures or animals you'd like to suggest, go ahead and post them!

Much as I would love to have some official Ghibli critters, I would be concerned about copyright violations causing troubles for Subeta.

I support, I'm sure Subeta Artists will find a way to change them up enough that we'll know they are tribute items, yet keep them different enough to avoid copyright infringement.

I think that we have way too much 'borrowed' material as it is. I'd rather see original ideas when it comes to official items.

CWs already take care of the look-alike part. And I'm well aware that CWs aren't minions. ^_^ Type of the item is not the point of my opinion.

Yea I feel like this is some real copyright territory... so the best you'll probably get is like... CWs. :x I don't have a lot of support for this. I'd rather artists work on Subeta lore material than (c) things

For fuck's sake, stop using "copyright infringement" as an excuse when staff's been doin' it for years now. Obviously staff artists know how to get by without infringing rights.

This is a suggestion for minions, not CWs. Big difference between the two.

They do have a minion that resembles totoro I believe.
