As someone who restocks at apothecary for boosters, I hated the change that made apothecary turn into the magic box. Since the change, I've restocked there for a few hours without seeing a single stat booster. I usually see a couple a day when I do restock.

Making a shop where you can buy elixirs similar to GoOutside with the no restocking would make sense. Different colors could be set for a different amount, especially bloodred since that is the only color of elixir that has a slightly more expensive potion.

better sP sink.

I don't expect everyone to agree with this, and I know staff is trying to limit the amount of boosters going out, but the change to apothecary is very frustrating and I think this would help a bit by reducing the number of things that could restock there.

I don't like the idea of this. That would just be one more thing with a high ceiling limit that originally didn't have one. Not to mention all the elixirs floating around on site already means no one would probably buy from the shop in the first place.

elixirs will never be worth that much anyway, who cares if they have a ceiling. make the shop price like 200k or something for most colors, ones on the site can be sold for less than that which is what most of them are worth anyway.

hmm, i don't know, i like that many elixirs are very cheap and i feel like if they went in their own non-restocking shop they would be sold for more than they go for in user shops—remember a couple years ago when staff decided elixirs and potions should be worth more than 20-50k and bought them all up and jacked up their prices and now they range from 50-250k?—which would ultimately raise the user shop prices (people would probably sell them for like 5k less than they sell for in the shop just to make the sale) and… yeah, i kind of like that potions and elixirs have their value determined by users, not staff saying "this item is worth this much and this is how much you will pay for it."

Exactly.

Not to mention, I remember Keith saying that the Apothecary wasn't RSing like it was supposed to anyway because there were so few items that stocked there. Most shops would RS every 10 minutes but Apothecary would wait 1 hour plus. Having the elixirs there helps the shop to RS more frequently with the new shop system.

I think if they were priced similar to what they are in shops now (~200k each), it would just be a better solution.

magic box has such a large stock compared to apothecary, that apothecary just turned into magic box v2 without the junky wearables.

There is like 700 elixirs, that would be a pain to load, as a shop

separate loading tabs?

I hate loading the menagerie, even if everything is split. Feels like forever on my ipod. D:

I STILL THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DUMPED IN THE DECANTER

might be split but they probably all load when you first load the page. they could make the new stock load when the tab is clicked probably, I'm sure there are other features that do something similar to this.

decanter? what's that? o-o

[edit] I think item hovers sorta work this way, they only get loaded into cache when you hover over the item.

edit2: this could even be achieved by retiring all elixirs and making a service where you have a drop down menu with the pet species, then another drop down menu with all available elixir colors. No item image loading needed.

It takes so much out of Subeta&;s universe and experience when an item that did something is removed and instead all your get is a quick link at the top of your pet page.

If we keep going that way, eventually there won&;t be any more usable items, only a giant drop down menu with a search bar where you can change their name, gender, color, specie, leash, scrolls, description, battle stats, jobs, friends and whatever else pets do, all for a fee

Sure, why not do this with boosters too? Retire all boosters, and have a paid option to go and buy stats.

You're welcome

then leave the items in :p what I said was just a more efficient solution.

It's efficient, but way less immersive and much easier to make a mistake because LONG LISTS.

I just don't like how apothecary became the magic box. take a look at mystery box today. have you ever tried getting stuff from there during apothecary day because it was easy to amass a large supply of dark potions for a future use and even a few boosters along the way? you cannot do that now.

there may be a better solution to this, but I doubt anything will be done. it's just very frustrating to go from restocking in apothecary to restocking in the magic box with the apothecary man looking at me instead.

I just used Mystery Box twice for drills and it was still extremely easy to get the under 1k cheapies. Sure I had to hit Try Again a couple times but I was still very easily able to get 9 or 10 in about a minute.

I didn't find that many in a couple minutes, but I never did it for drills. I'd buy a few thousand to vault and use later.

I'm aware you don't do it for drills, I'm just pointing out that it wasn't at all hard to hit try again a few times to find another 496 or 945 potion or whatever.

I have to agree with Speiro. I am 100% against this whole instant gratification thing like having all the elixirs instantly available to pick from. If we keep doing things like this then there isn't going to be any fun in subeta. I rather like having to work for something like refresh for a potion I want or a booster I want.

Could they find a better shop for them then?

You have to work still for a potion or booster you want, the restock rate is much lower on boosters now. I don't think very many people restock elixirs to use any way. Most of them are restocked for profit I'd imagine. People who want an elixir for their pet would just shop search to tranform their pet.

What is a better shop for potions in a bottle than an apothecary?

I'm trying to look at options and am not finding any
