So I just started playing after seeing this site mentioned on the neopets facebook page. They have gone downhill a lot and I was getting quite mad since I was paying. So I figured why not try this site. It's really weird getting used to this layout after playing neo for 11 years but so far I like it. I think it might help a little to know of things that are alike,features made better here on subtera,and things that are exclusive on subtera. It will kind of help me find my niche on here like I had on Neo. On neo I mostly collected stamps and avatars and lead and participated in guilds.

I collected stamps too o-o there are a lot of collections on subeta, and they actually make them possible to complete.

And the ones that were possible cost 200 mil+ except for maybe the shell. Are the collections here like the beanbags and pumpkins?

Plushies and stickers too, plus books and food for your pet (it keeps track of which are read/eaten)

Ah ok.Thank you. The currency is weird here. On neo junk items start at 1np but here it starts in the hundreds. I like trying to save to a decent amount. Just like neo I'm sure it varies but what would be considered a decent amount of sp here?

Yeah you can collect all sorts of things here. Some collections will cost you cause some items are hard to find but Subeta always tries to make hard to find items available again after every so often. You can also collect achievements.

junk items are for the most part used for something, such as fragging to turn into crystals for the crystal shop, for the recycle beast for his shop... various things. idk actually, I've always wondered what a fair comparison would be between the two. sP is quite easy to make though. you can easily make over a mil a day just from quests though. some of the more expensive things in the millionaire center are 400m to 750m though

Are galleries to collect a certain theme a thing here as well?

I have two galleries to collect a certain theme, so I would think some other people do that. Some people just put those collections in their pet's treasure chests

It seems like it! I've already earned 5 mil sP doing quest and vending machine. One neo there were exclusive pets like the draik that everyone wanted. What would be the comparison here? From reading a board it sounds like Storm pets are popular. Or like for having items like Suap or Bgc. Are there rare items like that here that are sought after?

certain weapons are probably the most expensive items on the site. a lot of people don't battle, so there are custom wearable items that are more popular. I don't do wearables really so I know little about this. all the pets are pretty easy to get, experiment pets can be harder to get though. storm pets are popular but relatively cheap. angelic I think is the most expensive color? don't quote me on that though.

Yeah you can make a gallery and collect almost anything that catches your fancy.

Pets here aren't classed as rare or uncommon, getting a pet 'painted' or rather potion'd is quite easy to do just sometimes requires a little saving. But basically every pet is obtainable. We have a zapper that's kinda like the Lab Ray cept no need to spend millions on pieces for the map... you can go to the zapper, user wizard tokens and zap one of your pets and hope for something awesome.

Yeah guilds are like cults only well... cults are in much need of a revamp and sadly that's on the "to-do" list ... it's under construction. But yeah the forums here are indeed less strict than on Neo.

As long as you stay on topic and follow the rules in the sticky on each forum, you're fine. if you want to just chit chat on a thread, there is a forum for that. familiarize yourself with the rules of each forum though.

I have to agree with you. I really don't like the way JStaff is handling Neopets at the moment and I was looking for another game like Neoepts to play. I forgot that I made a Subeta account AGES ago so I decided to check it out. I'm literally in love with this site. Everything is so much fun, and I really like all of the different features that this site has. I'm also really impressed with the quests and the games. I think I'd rather spend real money here than on Neopets at the moment! It's really given me something to think about. :)

There are more collections here, better customization (of actual humans) but you can also work on building up your pet and their story or battling with your pets. There's so much to do and try here!
