Anyone play? I love me some guildwars in the evening. What do you think of the expansion bundle? Are you even excited for HoT? I am.

I play on and off i get bored easily. I find the expansion expensive and probably won jump on until a sale on it.

I'm gonna wait till they offer it as an expansion only. Why would i need another copy of gw2?

The expansion itself IS the current price, however they're offering it as a bundle with a 'free' copy of the main game so that new players don't need to shell out $ for the new game content + the old game content. They've stated a few times in the forums there will not be an 'expansion only' offer / that if there was it would still be the same price. (A lot of games recently have been doing this to encourage new players to get the game w/o the daunting fee of all the old stuff they missed.)

I guess the expansion better be damn huge to justify pricing it the same as the base game. We will see wont we :)

The way I honestly look at it is; GW2 for 50 bucks is a great game. When it first launched, I had plenty to do, and it definitely earned it's keep as my favorite game ever. I made a lot of connections with friends that just weren't there before gw2. THEN GW2 gave us season 1 AND 2 for free. That was honestly a lot of free content. At least an expansion worth of story IMHO. And we got it for free. I've been pretty damn pleased about it, but that's just me of course. I don't mind putting up another 50 bucks for the game. At this point, I honestly know it's going to earn it's mark because it's always worked hard for the money it's asked me to spend before. (Ps I think you can gift the code to someone [I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure] If you know anyone on the fence w/ joining, why not push them into it with a free code!)

I have only been playing about 2 years, So i don't know the general quality of their releases, I know that I love the game and it seems like the quality is fantastic in their releases, but I have been wrong about games before so I am careful. I will wait and see how the reviews on it are. And eventually break down and buy them.

My husband and I have been playing since release. When we got the game release night he walked, starry eyed to the car whispering 'It's a box.' And we've played non-stop since then haha. Some of the beginning patches weren't super hearty and full of goodness, but season 2 was definitely amazing imho.

I totally understand waiting for reviews though. That makes sense, and is always a safe way to make purchases. C:

I play! And you can blame for that. (Hi Mels don't mind me I'm just stalking my friend feed apparently.) I personally think GW2 is one of the best purchases I've made, as it was WELL worth the $50 I paid for it (not to mention it's sometimes been discounted to like $15 which is an insanely good deal.) I am super excited for HOT! I hope there will be lots of new content and jumping puzzles (one of my favorite flipping things in the game) to explore! :'D

You know they did confirm JPs in HoT. I think they're adding them in the 'canopy' type layer where there is going to be tons of debris and obstacles?? Sounds like some good fun right there. I wonder if we'll need the gliders to do JPs?? That sounds like a pretty fun element to add alright.

I think the glider might be kinda awkward for some it's like HAHA YOU ARE SCREWED IF YOU MISS LANDING ON THE RIGHT THING HAVE FUN. B) I remember gliding around in the beta test. I kinda hope they fix the delay in it opening once you jump off crap because I panic thinking it's not opening and accidentally close the glider and then fall hilariously lmao...

I feel like a lot of stuff is going to feel jpish since we have to figure out how to get to new hero challenges and adventures and stuff and little nooks and crannies of everything. I feel like it's going to be the Drydock Scratch coins all over again HAH. dead

That is gonna be amazing though, seriously. The exploration aspect HAS STEPPED IT UP A NOTCH. Like man in the beta there was this little shrine you had to glide down to from way far away? Like dang some of these are gonna be hardcore HOW DO? in relation to POIs. Like I already think some of the pois in the game are super sneaky, this is gonna be even more insane haha.

I kinda wouldn't mind if they'd do more lost badges / coins. I thought those were pretty fun even if they were SHSL The Challenge Is Real, haha.

Man I know, we're going to have so much exploring to do. And it's probably going to be a total pain with Demi! xD Why did I pick the biggest megatron unicorn to be my mainnnn sob. xD

I broke another game btw. xD You know how in gw2 I tend to jump as I walk around? I was doing that and exploring an area apparently I wasn't supposed to and glitched into an area I shouldn't go and my char spun all crazy and then died very dramatically. xDDDD

Man I feel you, I sometimes wonder how the heck I'm supposed to jump on things with Vira and she isn't even anywhere near as large as Demi. I can't imagine main-ing as Vira constantly? Holy crap. x'D

Oh my gosh. You always manage to glitch through the floors and the walls and everything ever somehow. AND YOU DON'T EVEN TRY TO GLITCH THINGS. I can't even count the amount of times you've fallen through the floor for no reason lmao. XDD Your poor character oh my gosh; that sounds hysterical though.

Charr are the best though!!!! They have such a big foot space area to land on haha. Also she uses sword main so I mean, that lunge 2 skill alrighty. That's important as heck. I use it so fricking often for JPs and stuff.

I am so afraid of that one SP in Malchor now because of the time I fazed through and couldn't get out. Every time I go to it I praise grenth a little (which is a little MORE hilarious given it's a grenth statue lmao)

Charr are really fricking fabulous. I honestly do like Vira and Lavan's designs an awful lot. (Especially Lavan since I gave him that wonderfully poofy hair and it's so vibrant and neat looking?) And NACHO IS SO FRICKING CUTE. I swear they changed the way those wings work; they used to be as stiff as cardboard and now they move REALLY elegantly when you're running or strafing and it's fricking gorgeous. I fricking love the customization options for charr so fricking much. :'D And sylvari. And asura.

That is exactly what throws me off when jumping personally. I'm so used to using tiny things to jump with so I get confused about the larger foot boxes I guess? Haha.

Do you remember that one time I did that where it targeted something below me and I almost fell off? Lmao. x'D

That is the most literal PRAISE GRENTH then. Bahaha. It really is weird when the SP/HCs glitch. Like that one with the turtles started spawning them indefinitely on me for some reason so I just swam the frick away. LOL.

I actually cannot stand the new wing dynamics on the Charr. It phases through them a lot and it really bothers me. UGhHhH.

LOL yes, Cento has the smallest foots box. So does Shiny. Man it throws me off when the asura's heads bobble around when they land and I try to over compensate because it feels like they're falling over xDDD

OH GOD LMAO the 2 skill can get you into so much trouble! xD I've lunged to my death an unmentionable amount of times. xD

So many SP have been glitched lately. xD did I tell you about the one in Harathi I had to glitch myself under the map to finish????

Really? I don't think I have that problem very much, and I like that they flow with the movement of the charr personally.

YEAH I really like the small things so much. AND I THINK THAT'S FRICKING HILARIOUS ABOUT ASURA ACTUALLY??? Like frick they're so tiny and cute and it's hilarious / great. I love their movement animations so much. Like the asura guardian will spin around on the staff thing when doing that one move. I kinda forgot what it was since I haven't played Chihiro as much. x'D

So there is a SP where you kill an Ettin and his two raptors? But one of the raptors went under the map so no one could get it. I climbed up on one of the rocks nearby and kept logging in and out until it put me under the map and I got to kill him lmao. It was hilarious and it confused all the people w/ me trying to get the sp. xDD
