I neeeeeeeeeed to get to lvl 80 so I can justify asking for HoT for Christmas. >.< I should do some level grinding soon.

We really should make a list of players. Most of the group I got the game to play with has moved on because I have a totally different way of enjoying the game than they have, so I've been running around solo, which is so much less fun.

I am playing to! For a year now and i still love it! JP's are adored! I also realy like the Story-Quests - Exploring the World and doing Roleplay.

Have a soft spot for Sylvari. So my first 80'er was a Sylvari Thief called Anthyron. Followed by others. A Hunter - a Messmer - a Mage.

I am super exited for the addon! Can't wait to play.

Has anybody played the expansion yet? I'm wondering if anyone has anything to say about the actual game play. The online reviews are mostly saying beautiful maps, breathtaking graphics, best mmo ever etc... Nothing about features, game play etc...

I love GW2! It's one of those games that I always get SUPER into for a while, and then sort of lose interest for a bit, but it always comes back. c: Right now I'm working on map completion on my main character. She's at about 66% and I'm reaching the tedious zones.

As for HoT, I have it, but I haven't played much honestly. It's much more difficult than previous storylines for me, so I have to wait for my boyfriend to be home and playing on his character to do it so I die less. I like the mastery system though! I've been level 80 for several months so I was glad to see that I finally had something to spend all those leftover hero points on.

So I finally picked GW2 back up and I discovered I had a TON of tomes lying around, so now I'm level 58...?

I'm still working on my storyline though.

Ah man I love GW2! A friend of mine got me into it a little over a year ago, and though I have only one level 80 as of right now (my dear little twig, a sylvari guardian named Oaklinna), I have a ton of fun. Really loving HoT so far too. And hey, Wintersday starts super soon!

Wintersday started yesterday!! Is anyone partaking in the festivities? :)

I just started playing GW this year so this is only my second holiday (Halloween was the first) and so far it's super fun! I really like toypocalypse, even if it's a little tedious haha. And I gotta say, I love escorting the Dolyak in Divinity's Reach that drops/poops presents. :'D

This is my first Wintersday where I've participated. I have a bit of a busy week going on but this weekend I'm excited to dive into it.

I havent looked into the conversatiosn x.x But I do play! It's been awhile since I've played but my main is a Sylvarian Necromancer <3 I haven't been able to play in a good long while because my computer doesnt like it ¬¬

I've just started playing GW2 as a Sylvari Necromancer (I also have a Charr Elementalist) a couple of days ago!. I'm only level 17 at the moment though. It's kinda lonely playing by myself... [size=small]That's a problem I have on other MMOs, tbh. I'm a loner.[/size].

Oh lord I tried Winter Wonderland ONCE. I'm terrible at jumping puzzles, though, and I gave up after so many failures lol.

I'm loving the Wintersday skins in the gem shop, though. I got the festive outfit and put it in my teeny tiny sylvari and gave her hammer a candy cane skin, so she's quite festive looking right now.

One of the nicer things about GW2 is that it's not so bad to play alone. I have friends I play with, but I got a lot of levels just doing exploration.

I'm going to echo what Raccoon said! It's not the worst mmo to play by yourself, especially since you get exp for almost EVERYTHING. I feel your pain on the loner front though. I'm in a guild but I rarely (if ever...) talk/participate in guild events. Heck yeah for necromancers though. 8)

I made a Charr revenant today. I figured it was about time to try out the class since I've had the expansion since it came out and have seen 3859345 running around. It's fun so far! I just slam my mace down a lot, so I got that going for me.

Thanks. Yeah, exploring is a lot of fun! :) Some of the view points are a real pain in the ass to get to and the camera doesn't help. :/

I suppose I feel it would be a better experience with people to talk to and help/be helped by. I'm not the most outgoing person so it might take me a while to find someone, if at all. ///orz

I actually made a revenant recently myself. And playing her is so much fun. It's even better for me, because she's based off one of my fave characters from my fave games at the moment. And one of the main NPCs in GW2 happens to be voiced by the same guy who voices a character in one of the games from the series her inspiration is from. Then again, said voice actor is in a lot of things... he's basically everywhere.

Mostly I just wanted to make a version of her character where she could be happy. Because she didn't deserve what happened to her in her canon verse. ;A;

Which voice actor? Or which npc? I am interested.
