Since the pet spotlight has been cut down, we still get the alert for new news every night. Only, there isn't new news on the nights without a pet spotlight winner.

I also have this problem. I noticed that it happens when the Subeta clock hits 12 AM. I was actually going to make a bug post about it sooner or later since it really bugs me, haha.

Yes this has always happened at night when there is no new news. Not sure they can change it, but would be nice.

Yes, on the very dinky sidexD lolz. I remember when it actually used to be announced in the main news frame like pet spotlight and new items released are now. Gosh that was a long time ago...

That's exactly what it is. And I don't see how that isn't new news... it's new... and it's news (sorry all news isn't in the form of useless words from a spokesperson... it's still an update about something... so it's news)

I have to chime in, that I get a new news alert on occasional days, when there is absolutely nothing new there not even the winners.
