the most recent battle news post^

I would be happy if this page were replaced by anything else. literally anything. The challenger page, the in depth guide, a pretty picture. I can understand there's not much news about battling so this isn't updated often. Even when there's a battle event, this page is not updated.

We should have a weekly or monthly mini battle event, a new challenger, and old challenger, wins reset against a challenger without awarding new prizes, just exp, anything. This page is just useless right now and it makes me sad.

maybe either of you know if this page has any use that I am not aware of?

I think it was always just there as a main page for the BC... that's all I can think of. We get a lot of news added to the MAIN news page... but maybe if they have battle news instead of clicking on the "new news" link and going to the news post on the main page perhaps they make all battle news go to the front page of the BC that way all battle news and updates can be there in one place.

It would let all battlers new and old catch up on things instead of having to hunt down posts through the archives on the main page.

they could have a banner saying new battle news instead of new news in case multiple news posts come out. I would prefer that immensely to an unused page like it is now.

That would work. We have "New News" and "New Announcement" so I see no harm in them making "New Battle News" since there is a page FOR battle news. It would give it so much needed love.

yeah that's what I was thinking too. it's just frustrating how the most common news post there is from 2013. there's been a lot of battle news since then but it's all lost in the regular news pages.

Yeah really. Putting all battle news there instead of the main news page would keep everything neat and organized. And if anyone misses it, you're right adding the "Battle News" box at the top can ensure people don't lost that alert if they visit the news page because they have to click the link to take them to the actual battle news page.

Can also change the color of the alert instead of the beige/tan that we see for new news it could be blue or yellow or something eye catching.

I think this is the best idea for the page. Will it happen? probably not, but we can hope.

I like this idea. Not enough to want the BAs to stop giving us a new CS challenger every month if they're like mega-busy, but it's still a good idea. I was surprised that the change to Battle Quests didn't get copied there.

Yeah I'd like to see more new news, even if not so often. It's kinda off putting when the news page is the main one and yet the most recent update was in 2013. :/

Or, you know, if new news won't/can't happen, take down the page and make the begginer's guide the front one. -shrug-

Oh THAT is perfect. And would make sense too. Click the BC... BAM get the guide on page one. Good thinking!

That idea was sorta in my first post (not so clear probably). Though I prefer the in depth guide to the beginner guide.

I do think there should be a challenger guide. The one on the useful battle threads page is horribly outdated and the icoj pictures are broken

I was thinking about this earlier when I noticed that the "News" was never updated. Like, ever. I think one of the guides would definitely be better.

I wouldn't want it to be entirely separate from the main news. I've always wished battle-related news posts could be tagged as such, and appear both on the main page and in the coliseum. Kind of like how announcements show up on the news page and in the announcement forum.

It's okay :p I think the challenger page would make a better main page though. When I go to the coliseum, it's usually to battle something.

I would think the beginners guide is prolly best to have as the main page even if it would be more convenient to have the challenger page for me.

The battle news page feels redundant anyhow, it's no wonder it's not updated... ever...

I have long wondered why the Battle Admins didn't bother to update that with at a minimum, the things that they post in the Battle Chat thread on the forums
