NaNo 2014 put me off writing for the better part of December. LOL I'm back at now though.

I've got three writing goals for this year.

1. Get a first draft completed for my oldest and most developed story idea.
2. Get plot outlines done for my other solid original ideas. (My fanfic slash stories can and will wait.)
3. Narrow down my concepts, by taking a good look at what works and what doesn't. (I think a number of them will end up being incorporated with other concepts as I've noticed I tend to have multiple ones with similar themes.)

Anything else will be not just a bonus, but also a pleasant surprise. XD

I didn't get very far during NaNo 2014, but I'm hoping to change that this year since I probably won't have school to get in the way. :D

Until then, though, I want to go back through all of my DM notes for this Pathfinder campaign I was doing because I want to turn it into a novel since the campaign didn't really go anywhere. Gotta solidify the map, craft/finish up characters, and plot the, well, plot. I've got an idea of what I was doing with it, but I still gotta clear it up a little. Think the political intrigue through a little more. heheh

But first, I'm getting through my online winter course and my internship next semester. -u-

- I'm with you there. Now that it January, I should get back to writing! I would really like to start my comic this year, and want to finish writing the story first!

I never got to take part in NaNoWriMo.... I've tried once... and failed. But I've told myself that 2015 is going to be my year for writing... I need to stop being so lazy and put aside time to focus on my work and get stuff done. I lack a little inspiration but I have SOME... and I do hope that before the month is over I can get some chapters written for my novel. That is my biggest goal for the time being.

- nanowrimo isn't for everyone. It's a great motivator for me though. Hopefully this thread will also motivate me to write more. I have a bunch of stuff I want to write! Character bios, character side stories, and then a bunch of editing one other stories that needs to be done. Hopefully I won't just throw it all behind until next nano!

Oh yeah! I remember you were doing that. :) Glad to hear you've gotten pretty far in that. :D

I've got ~1500 words of establishing that the main character is training to become a higher-ranking cleric even though her real passion is history. LOL

Yeah I kinda figured that. I got a single chapter done one year and that was all I could manage.

I have ideas in my head, tons of them that I'm really excited about... I just need to focus and yeah probably starting tonight I'll set some time aside and work... I cannot wait.

It was. In the process of my revealing that, she snuck off to get a spare candle to work on a personal project an began overhearing snippets of the beginnings of the main plot. :P

Mmhm. My only problem last November, I think, is that I got stuck on that, then my classes decided to give me a bunch of papers to do. :(

In the meantime, though, cleaning up my plot and my characters will get me organized, at least, so I can start up somewhere else in the plot and hope for the best.

- school is the worst for Nanowrimo! November is always midterms and final papers time. :( But sounds like you are figuring things out! That is good. I need to go back and majorly modify my realy old Nano, but I should work on the current one more first.

- Camp Nano is for RP stories/characters. :P I have a lot of those to work on too!

It really is. I'm a History major, too, so papers are a semi-regular thing for me. :(

Yessssss. I'm gonna be That Person and cheat by just continuing with what I have already but ah well. At least I'm writing. :P

I don't do nanowrimo as I write all year long and having a special thing for that month would mean taking away from my current projectsXD

I write mostly fanfics but do have original works (point to siggy) :)
